Agree with that. The ball yesterday was doing weird and wonderful things on that pitch. At one point I'm sure one of our players managed to get back spin that Tiger Woods would have been proud of. An absolute joke of a pitch.

Absolutely Right Munoz.

Strangest movements Of a ball that I have seen.

Thanks to St. Lucifer and EAB for posting the highlights for those of us who can't afford Buddievision. Excellent coverage from QoS TV, especially the shots from behind the goals. Also thought it was very fair of them to show our fans and team celebrating at the end of the game. Definitely a step up from the UWS efforts I remember from the Paisley 2021 stadium in the days before Buddievision, but maybe things have improved since the club has started the pay-to-view arrangement.

Wasn't able to get to the game on Saturday but it looked as if we were in command for much of the game. Also showed how much Lewis Morgan does for us, creating two of our three goals and scoring the other one. To be fair, the Queens goal was also very well worked and finished. Another three points and another game ticked off Jack's list towards the point where we can no longer be overtaken. Brilliant!  COYS!!

What a weekend. I'm going to miss those jaunts to Dumfries.

The best thing about the day was, in the main, the togetherness of the team and the support. The St Mirren Family and I mean that quite literally had an absolute ball. Travelling with the Buds every week you get to meet a few of the players and their families but Dumfries was overflowing with our heroes nearest and dearest. Players Dad's, Girlfriends etc were all out in force having a laugh and supporting the Saints. I heard a story in the Pub after the game about big Harry Davis sitting at the match with his two kids. Big Harry might be able to stop the biggest, baddest, ugliest forwards in the league but apparently he couldn't catch his two waynes who were clambering all over the stands and giving him the runaround.

On the park wasn't it just great to see the players celebrate with the fans. Wee Lewis Morgan really wanted us to know what it meant to him and Kyle was no different.  Well done wee Danny Mullen for his first goal too and what about Stelios. That boy really does wear his heart on his sleeve. The way he was egging us on you would have thought he had scored. I do like that boy.

After the game I had the good fortune to spend a bit of time with Gavin Reilly on the train Journey to Carlisle.  What a great couple of guys him and his dad are. I won't bore you with all the details but Gavin did confirm what we already know in that Jack Ross is the man, and that the players love the support they get from the stands.

He made special mention of the "Cammy Cammy" song and told some funny stories about the effect it had on training after the Aberdeen game. Every player knew the words to the chant by the end of the game and while it didn't stop them hurting after a 4-1 doing, it sort of helped them get over it and it was in there heads for a lot longer that the 33 minute rendition we gave them. The players thought the supporters were especially brilliant that day.

A special mention to the Queens fans who made us very welcome in the Devorgilla bar. We got a wee sing song going about "the Queens fans manners and how they spend their tanners heading to Dumfries on the railway line"

Later on one of the young ladies in our company asked me what a tanner was. I tried to explain it was a sixpence or half a shilling but she was none the wiser. "Two and Half pence" I explained.

She looked at me as if I was daft "Half Pence"    Oh Well. One benefit of being an old fud is I can remember 3 title wins (although in my lifetime there have been four) and two major cup wins.

It definitely looks like another Party is coming soon.

See you all for the Next Game.

Buddie vision is great value at £4.99 a month I subscribe month to month the fact you can watch the full 90min is great. Some games I don't find the score so I can watch the game as if it's live. £1 a week that works out roughly.

Excellent highlights by QOTS and 4 good goals in the game.  I thought Eckersley yellow could have been a red if we had an other ref on the day since he was late into the challenge. Great to see the happiness in the players faces when they are celebrating with the fans. Wish our game with Falkirk was still on next week :(

He didn't say wasn't good. he said a lot of fans can't afford.

How much does a PDE  cost these days ? Would think more fans than not can afford £1.00 a week as you will know Gary there is a lot more on Buddie Vision than just the game.                                                                                                                                                        . Div idea of it being included with the season ticket is a great idea.

Not for those who aren't interested in it. The season ticket is meant to save money by paying up front. Not a means to extract more cash from individuals.

Maybe it does drop into the easily affordable bracket for a few saints fans, the issue is (and with any product) who/how many potential customers actually 'need' it..?

you can see almost everywhere really clever marketing on cola to car insurance tapping into your basic need hierarchy, for BV to grow and secure more subscribers it needs to be positioned in such a way the regular fan 'needs' it. Presently i dont feel the need, and next season with Sportscene and BBC highlights online it will become harder to attract more paying customers when most of the product on offer is available free elsewhere.

to really lift its profile, and get customers into the 'need' category the club should install TV screens (just as Vambo suggested) at all the snack stalls with BV piped into it before, during and after the game.

see highlights of goals or controversial decisions at half time, see interviews and classic footage pre game and get a real Fanzine buzz around the product. I have tried to suggest stuff directly in the past because the club needs input from retail, marketing and engagement specialists to crack on. You will only get so far on enthusiastic amateurs, by definition they will be high on the tech, but low on the selling.

starting off with a Season Ticket offer as Div suggested is a great customer base link-in, but it needs a high visual profile to sell a high visual product.

Glad to see that my mention of Buddievision has started a serious conversation about this aspect of the club. Now that it's been going for almost a season, this may be the right time to review the venture.

My reason for not subscribing was that it came along just as I had already paid out for my ST and I couldn't justify another £50 just at that time. I think Div's idea of marketing it along with the STs is a good one. Just as you get money off the price of games by buying a ST, surely it would be possible to offer a Buddievision subscription  at a reduced cost (say £35) when bought with a ST.

Production values may be a consideration if they haven't improved since the time when the UWS coverage was available to all. I don't want to put the lads from UWS down, but there have definitely been some better quality highlights packages from other clubs this season, Saturday's QoS game being a case in point.

All that apart,  I'm now considering buying a month's subscription for the upcoming final few matches of the season which will surely include all the celebrations when we finally get over that line. That will be worth £4.99 of anyone's money!

The BV content is all produced by the clubs permanent media team employees. Previously there was just James but the club have brought in a second body to help him.

The St.Mirren TV service is the one that is run by the UWS team. It's a separate service, primarily aimed at overseas buddies.  Obviously though it is their feed that is used to package up the match highlights for BV.

Annual subscribers to St.Mirren TV also get access to BV at no additional cost.
