A league cup trophy and a championship title. Not too bad in our new stadiums history.

Does it for me.

And a few stunning individual matches at our new Home.

It's been nine years since the move and a lot of them have been a bit of a slog but it's finally looking like our first winning season at the new place.
Only one thing could make it better - unearthing a lost Doors song about GHR.  :whistle:headbang

We could have ‘Ship of Fools’, ‘Riders of the Storm’ or ‘People are Strange (for some posters). But I’ll go with ‘Strange Days’ as before this season that kind of summed up most Saturdays.

This thread title had me flummoxed. It was a complete "Whoosh" so I googled the clue"

"Love Street"

She lives on Love Street
Lingers long on Love Street
She has a house and garden
I would like to see what happens

She has robes and she has monkeys
Lazy diamond studded flunkies
She has wisdom and knows what to do
She has me and she has you

She has wisdom and knows what to do
She has me and she has you

I see you live on Love Street
There's this store where the creatures meet
I wonder what they do in there
Summer Sunday and a year
I guess I like it fine, so far

She lives on Love Street
Lingers long on Love Street
She has a house and garden
I would like to see what happens

La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la

I'm still wondering what GHR refers to "Whoosh"

Apologies for the vague , cliquey nature of the tread title.

The DJ used to play the song quite regularly at the old ground.

I remember hearing it as I made my way out after the last game against Motherwell - had a wee tear in my eyes!

PS - I'm the long haired dude who hugged you in The Bull Inn after the QotS game! :P

Yeah it's the best I could come up with too but I'm not sure it's good enough, having said that these lyrics from the song could certainly have been written in the aftermath of watching Saints play............................:whistle

36 hours on from the Dumbarton game and I'd like to say it's my new favourite game at GHR - even better than the 4-0 against Celtic when I was still a bit shell-shocked from our previous match

GHR was rocking on Tuesday night.

ROCKING!

Three home games left this season and when we get presented with the trophy the new place will finally feel like home.

I'll have a wee tear in my eye for the old place though.

I always have and always will miss Love Street.  The 4-0 celtic game was magic, end of last season RR and Ayr games were great BUT Tuesday night aye that was guid guid! Thing is Love Street will always be home but I am sat with the same guys at the new ground and actually more of our bus together now, decades of memories with the same crowd just in a different place now... all good

The Bull Inn, hadn't been in there in a long long time but popped in on Saturday for one... I also got a hug from an old uni pal. Tis the place for hugs obv - decent!
