Watching Sportscene

Recommended Posts

Hmmm, Sunday night (council) tv viewing.

I've just been watching Scotland's top quality teams on Sportscene on BBC Scotland.

This is apparently a higher standard of opposition than we have been facing in the Championship this season.

FFS, some of these SPL diddy teams in the bottom 6 are really grim !!

Dundee are totally shite.

Hamilton Accies, Ross County, Partick Thistle, and St Johnstone are probably worse (Is 'shiter' a word ?).

Is that going to be us next season ?? Or can Jack Ross's St Mirren offer something better ?

Are we going to be ambitious enough to impose ourselves in the first quarter of next season and build the foundations of something better ?

PLEASE !!!

Just did the same. Looks way more physical. Teams playing 3 at the back seems the norm with packed midfields. Difficult to tell if they are better than us as they are all so similar.

we should at least be able to get the better of St J, Dundee, Hamilton, Partick, Ross County/Hamilton.....maybe not Motherwell.
We will have prize money, money from Morgan and possibly a windfall from John McGinn.
Maybe top 6 is out of  reach but no reason why we cant push Motherwell for 7th spot.

I predict Jack and James will take us to the top six next season . Even Sellick looked a bit ordinary against Hibs last night , after the Pig and Whistle game l fell asleep. . was a busy weekend for some reason. .:)

We got pumped by every team we played from the top division this season

Get a grip

We got pumped by a League One Team also.

Still Champions

We will compete okay next Season and I think Top 6 is very possible.

I don't think at this stage you going to see much flowing football unless you watch Hibs, who were superb Sat..... Christ Watford v Palace was totally dross also!!

We have been playing some pretty ordinary stuff for the last month also

Secret to success in the Premiership, is pace or a packed defence.............. Look at Killie, hardly playing free flowing footy...............

For me . the blue print is there ---- Fakes.  Mobile midfield, solid defence and a goalscorer, who they are about to lose................ one thing is sure, we need a much stronger defence or we are going to lose so many goals from set pieces.................

Jack will embrace the challenge or Rodgers goes , Lennon goes to Tic and Jack goes to Hibs :whistle
