Not a paisley pub but I noticed the Ferry Inn in Renfrew has closed. Sign saying it is up for rent but giving it location I would be surprise if it ever opened again.
Restaurant?

Restaurant?
It has got a kitchen but it is a dump so a lot of money would need to be spent on it. Hundreds of new flats close by but with Escape just along the road it could be 1 restaurant to many. There is an Indians 50 yards from it as well next to the snooker hall.

Would need to find a niche market then.

Maybe a b&b since they have rooms upstairs. Hope something happens since an empty building is not helping anyone.
Isn't there a travelodge or similar at ferry village though?
Hopefully someone has the vision to regenerate the building as a viable business.

That whole building was Co-op, including a dance hall with parquet flooring on the top floor. The former Dusty Millar pub is next door. Who remembers the the huge neon signage on the short gable end corner at Forbes Place/Causeyside St that lit up one letter at a time C...W...S ..?

Picture from today's PDE ...........
