Dunfermline Preview
The Saints take on Dunfermline at St.Mirren Park tomorrow afternoon as the Black & White Army enjoy the rare experience of enjoying an SPL split safe from the spectre of relegation.
The same can't be said of the visitors however who really desperately need a win in Paisley to keep alive any hopes they have of beating the drop down to the first division.
The Pars have struggled big time in the SPL this season and recent sacked manager Jim McIntyre as he paid the price for some woeful form, particularly at home where the Fife club have not won a game all season long. Jovial Jim Jeffries is the man in the opposing dugout now and whilst he has made all the right media soundbites during the week the former Hearts and Killie gaffer surely knows that relegation is inevitable for his side who sit 7 points behind Hibernian with just 5 games left.

Saints manager Danny Lennon may well be tempted in his land of safety to hand a start to the likes of Darren McGregor or young Thomas Reilly as he looks ahead to next season but the gaffer will also be only too aware of the additional revenue on offer for eachfinishing in each rung in the SPL ladder. A finish of 7th for example could be worth around £200k to Saints versus a 10th placed finish.
Jeroen Tesselaar missis this one through suspension meaning Graham Carey could start at left back as David Barron looks like being rested for the remainder of the campaign.
Nigel Hasselbaink has caused the Pars all sorts of problems this season and he will almost certainly partner Steven Thompson up front as the buds look to make it all four games unbeaten against the first division bound fifers.
Divs Prediction
Dunfermline are honking but they are fighting for their lives. Saints are safe and as we have seen many times before in the split that mix can often lead to unexpected results. Still can't see us losing right enough, I'm going to go for a 3-1 win for the Paisley Brazilians and yes, Dougie Imrie is DEFINITELY going to open his account this weekend !

so in my view this game is just as important to us as it is dunfermline.
I hope we go for all out attack and we start converting all the chances that we create also a good chance for our defence to have another clean sheet.
