Dundee Preview

Written by B&W Army Webteam.

The buddies head up the A9 tomorrow to face Dundee on #SellOutSaturday as they look to build on last weeks late equaliser against Inverness Caley.

Danny Lennon welcomes back captain Jim Goodwin, Marc McAusland and talismanic striker Steven Thompson for the clash as they return from suspension whilst Graham Carey is also fit and back in contention for the buddies.

Lewis Guy misses this one as he begins a two match suspension for his incredibly harsh red card last weekend whilst keeper Grant Adam faces a spelll on the sidelines after suffering a fairly serious injury during the week in the under-20's 1-0 defeat to Celtic at Firhill.

Former Saints keeper Chris Smith has today been signed as an on loan emergency backup to number 1 Craig Samson and he will be on the bench tomorrow.

The game promises to have an electric atmosphere, being Dundee's first SPL match at home in 7 years. The home side performed well at Rugby Park last weekend and will be keen to use the buzz of the expectant home support to drive them on against the darling buds.

Former buddie John Baird will be the main attacking threat whilst Saints fans will also recognise Jamie McCluskey and Stephen O'Donnell in the home ranks.

Should be an absolute cracker, get yourself up to Dens and roar on the men in stripes !

Divs Prediction
Quiety confident tomorrow. The big crowd could well work against the home side and I think we are well placed to take full advantage. As long as we settle well and don't lose an early goal this is a game I think we will win and so I'm plumping for 3-1 Saints !

Without being disrespectful to dundee, this is a game saints should be looking to win and get 3 points on the board as yes we were unlucky last week but passed up numerous chances and perhaps should maybe have had a win last week to add to our hopeful 3points today.Hopefully money will be made available to danny to add more new faces but found it strange that when danny said it was unlikely we would be able to add when forced by circumstance through adams injury chris smith is suddenly back in paisley and that seems to be a decent piece of business. Doesnt matter who or where the goals come from as long as we are heading home to paisley with 3points in the bag and if we win today we have a great chance to make a good start to the season as we are home to hibs next saturday who are nothing to get excited about and are AVERAGE at best, lets hope we have a good performance and dont pick up any injuries and head home with 3points
