Kilmarnock Preview
The buddies make the short trip down the M77 tomorrow to face Kilmarnock at Rugby Park as they look to build on the excellent 2-0 win over Hearts last weekend.
With Danny and co sitting proudly in third spot in the table there is certainly an air of expectation and buzz around the club again, and we can expect a healthy sized away support in Ayrshire tomorrow keen to see the buds continue their good form against Killie.
St.Mirren found the net no fewer than ten times last season against Killie, winning three of the four matches, but despite winning 2-0 at Rugby Park on our last visit there the stats generally don't read too favourably with that being our only win there in the last five visits.
Jeroen Tesselaar was part of the Saints side that won that last match down there, but whilst he has since swapped sides he won't feature tomorrow against his old side as injury keeps him sidelined.
Killie will also be without keeper Cammy Bell, which is good news for the buddies as both deputies Letheren and Jaakkola look utterly rank !

Saints will be minus the long term injured Darren McGregor and Grant Adam but apart from that it's a clean bill of health and new signing Paul McGinn will join the first team squad for the first time after signing in midweek.
I wouldn't expect many changes to the side that performed so well last weekend, with Lennon having plenty of talent sitting on the bench to call on when required.
Should be a good game as usual down there, both sides like to play the game the right way, could be a few goals as well !
OPTA Stats Ahead of The Game
- Kilmarnock have registered just one win in their last four games against St Mirren, losing the other three.
- Killie have scored either two goals or no goals at all in their last eight meetings with St Mirren (two goals five times and no goals three times).
- At Rugby Park, Killie have suffered just one defeat in their last five clashes with the Buddies, although that loss did come last time out, 2-0 back in May.
- Killie have enjoyed just one win in their last six SPL fixtures, losing two and drawing three.
- None of St Mirren's eight SPL goals this season have come in the first 30 minutes of their games.
Divs Prediction
This is a game we can certainly win. Always wary of setting expectations too high though so I will go for a conservative 2-1 win rather than the 4-0 horsing that my heart is telling me is going to happen. Forza buddies, COYS !
