Midfielder Jon Robertson has rejoined Cowdenbeath in loan for an initial period of 1 month.

Andy Newport of previous PDE fame says the club has not received a single enquiry about Kenny McLean.

STV report that an un-named Championship club has made a verbal offer for Kenny McLean. The whisper last night of course was that McLean started the game last night in order to prove his fitness to a potential suitor.

Ipswich Town are thought to be interested in the player but with 18 months left on his contract and with a League Cup final on the horizon it would surely take a big bid to prise the midfielder away from the club ?

The buddies confirm that Paul Dummett has re-signed until the end of the season on loan from Newcastle Utd and that they have not received any bids for either Kenny McLean or Paul McGowan despite speculation to the contrary.

Unless something dramatic happens the club won't be signing any more players today.

January has seen the arrivals of Dummett, Goncalves and Newton, all on loan.

Full back Paul McGinn has joined Dumbarton on loan for the rest of the season. The brother of John and Stephen, Paul has apparently been hugely impressive on loan at Queens Park in the third division.

Saints are expected to tie up the loan return of Newcastle Left Back Paul Dummett later this morning. Just waiting on paperwork being signed after his parent club sanctioned the deal yesterday.

Dummett was in the stand at St.Mirren Park last night watching the side beat Inverness.

I have just heard that Gilmour is mulling over an offer for Kenny McLean.He and his(glove puppet) Danny Lennon, has known this for weeks. It is very relevant that winning the last couple of games has put some supporters (heids out the windae) as they have forgotten that we need new defenders. In essence, Gilmour has worked the oracle and will be increasing his balance sheet once again along with the Cup money.

ML Stewart you really are a numty. We are on a shoe string budget and i think what DL and mr gilmour have achieved in regards to signings and loans is impressive. Yes we could do with a defender but how many other teams in scotland would like to bring in a new player or 2 but unfortunately the financial situation doesn't allow it.
I'll take Mr Gilmour and DL any day over the 10,000 hour nonsense...we are in good hands at the moment and long may that continue!

Eric incase you've forgotten we were a 1st division team for 10 years and under Gus we finished 2nd bottom on a number of occasions. We have a chance this season to finish mid table (no sign of a relegation battle) which in my eyes would be success...do you not agree?

All you do is compare us to everyone else...surely you wouldn't like to have Vladimir Romanov as our owner?? I wouldn't. Their players don't even get paid on time! Hearts sign a couple of players and suddenly you want us to be like them!

You must've been gutted last Sunday after the Celtic game....nothing to complain, moan and be bitter about...don't worry a couple of defeats will get you back on your feet!

ML is a clown who should be completely ignored.

The man simply can't allow himself to be positive about ANYTHING to do with the club.

Best to ignore negative energy like this idiot and concentrate on the positives. It was that positive belief that has taken us to a cup final and just 2 defeats in our last 12 games.

We are 2 points off the top six and most definitely moving in the right direction.

We have a real chance of reaching the last 8 of the Scottish Cup tomorrow as well.

Yet still there are idiots like ML "I'm better than everyone else" Stewart who are moaning and bumping their gums.

Ignore them and they will hopefully go away.

He ts a Scotland international and played on the right-wing.Thomson is also a scotland international and his fitness will mean we can have him for years yet.Concalves standard has upped the other players performances..

Danny deserves praise for the players he has brought in over the last couple of weeks and I would be a hypocrite if I did not say so.
The players have revitalised the team and for that we must thank Danny.
Previously some of his tactics and decisions left a lot to be desired but recently his mangement etc has been excellent and I am the first to say so and believe me I am so happy "to eat my words"
