Cup Final Ticket News 2

Written by B&W Army Webteam.

Saints general manager Brian Caldwell was good enough to provide us with an update this afternoon on ticket sales for the forthcoming league cup final.

Saints have been given 17,500 tickets for the match. 3,000 of these are for the South stand, with the other 14,500 for the West Stand.

In the 48 hours since the tickets went on sale to season ticket holders 2,050 briefs have been sold (1,020 for the South and 1,030 for the West)

Thus there are currently 1,980 tickets left for the South Stand and 13,470 left for the West Stand.

Remember that the current sale is exclusive to St.Mirren Season Ticket Holders. The allocation of six tickets per card applies to both adult and child seasoncard holders so a family with 2 adults and 2 children who are all season ticket holders can apply for up to 24 tickets for the game.

Anyone wishing to place a bulk order based on multiple season tickets should submit an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it quoting the seasoncard numbers being used, the number of adult and child tickets required and details of a contact telephone number that can be used to collect the appropriate payment.

Those wanting fewer than 6 tickets can simply logon to the ticketing site at www.smfctickets.co.uk and purchase their briefs online.

The season ticket holders exclusivity period runs until 5pm on 27th February. From 28th Feb onwards the tickets will be on general sale.

Cup Final Tickets ???
We must learn to win again before we all start to think about the Cup Final or even the 6th round game against Celtic !
Last week we lost 1 - 0 to Hibs and today we lost 1 - 0 to St Johnstone.
Why have the wheels fallen off again ?
It appears that today we do not know how to defend a corner or even a set piece.
Towards the end of the game we could easily have lost a further 2 goals.
On Wednesday we have Hearts at home............ they also lost today so Wednesday will be a rehearsal for the cup final.
It could be two bad teams trying to win a cup.... not the formula for an exciting game nor the formula for a big crowd, especially when it will be on TV.
We MUST win on Wednesday to at least set us up for the 6th round against Celtic on Saturday.
I do not think lightening will strike twice in the same place but
maybe I can dream of a second "lightening" victory !!

I find it difficult to agree with you Tony.
When we signed Newton, Dummett and Concalves I thought that Danny had done a great bit of business but it just does not seem to be working.
On paper we have as good a team as 90% of the league but we are still in second bottom place.
Can it be that our manager cannot motivate the team or are his tactics so wrong that we do not give ourselves a chance..
Is Danny so determined to play "his way" that the team cannot, or are not allowed to alter that style of play even when things are going wrong.?

I agree with tony .These 3 you mention are not our players.Ross chairman has signed players on deals unlike us.They are building a team we have a loan of one.
