Cup Final General Sale
The general sale of the League Cup Final tickets gets underway at St.Mirren Park and online via smfctickets.co.uk at 11am today, Thursday February 28th.
General manager Brian Caldwell has been in touch this morning and answered a few questions we put to him over the sale. Here they are;

How many tickets have been sold to date Brian ?
Season ticket holders have purchased around 5,500 tickets during their exclusive sales period. Included in that figure is the 300 corporate hospitality tickets which were fully sold out within hours of going on sale.
When does the general sale begin ?
The general sale begins today, Thurs Feb 28th at 11am. Tickets will be on sale both from the ticket office at St.Mirren Park and also online via the smfctickets.co.uk website. New users will need to register to create an account on the online site whilst existing users can simply login and buy their tickets. The cup final is in the "Away" game tab.

There is NO limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased in one transaction. All previous limits are removed.

Yes. The tickets arrived at the club late last week and the ticket office have been working flat out to allocate these to the 5,500 sales that have already been processed. Tickets will be allocated in order of purchase.
Can fans go and collect their tickets now ?
No.The ticket office are still going through the allocation process and the club will announce when the tickets are ready to collect. This will be sometime next week (commencing March 4th) and the club will announce this via the official site, facebook and twitter pages when they are ready. Please be patient and don't phone or call in to the ticket office looking for your tickets, we will let you know when they are ready to collect !
Will the general sale buyers get their tickets today ?
No. Tickets will be available for uplift during the next week once all the backlog has been processed. Again please check the official website, facebook and twitter accounts and here on black and white army for news on when tickets are ready.
So the general message is to be patient ?
Yes, very much so ! The ticket office is operating under immense pressure at the moment. We had a home game last night to deal with and of course we have a very important Scottish Cup Quarter Final at home to Celtic this Saturday so it's been all hands to the pump. The team are working very long hours, 7 days a week, to try and get through all the workload. Please be patient, we will do our utmost to help everyone we can !
