Paul McGowan - POTY 2012
We are delighted to announce that the B&W Army Player of the Year for 2012 is midfielder Paul McGowan, who pipped striker Steven Thompson to the title in a tight finish with 410 of you taking the time to rate the players in our poll.

Congratulations to Paul who was magnificent this season and thanks to everyone who took the time to rate the players. The coveted crystal trophy will be presented to Paul on the pitch at the home game against Inverness Caley Thistle on May 5th, subject to approval from the club.
How the voting worked
We asked fans to rate each of the players on a scale of 1-10 based on their performance this season. If the fan had not seen enough of a player to be able to rate them then they chose "N/A". The average rating for a player was calculated by totalling the number of points scored (eg 5 votes of 10 counted as 50 points towards a total) and then dividing this points total by the number of scoring votes cast (ie; not counting N/A votes).
