Dutch Duo Depart
The club has confirmed this morning that Dutch duo Nigel Hasselbaink and Jeroen Tesselaar have both rejected contract offers to stay in Paisley and with Saints refusing to offer further revised terms both players have now left the club.
Nigel scored 8 goals in all competitions this season and started and finished the season well. His direct approach and pace made him a favourite with the fans but his lack of consistency and his poor decision making at times certainly made him a frustrating member of the squad.

Tess came in to replace Jure Travner at left back and had a solid and consistent season. Always calm and assured in possession he fitted in to the Lennon system with ease and also enjoyed a great relationship with the fans.
Very disappointing to lose both players, but at the end of the day the club can only pay what it can afford and we wish both players well with their future careers.
Both Tess and Nigel are set to have attracted interest from within Scotland with Dundee Utd tipped to move for Jeroen and Kilmarnock now quoted as being interested in Hasselbaink.

Cheerio, lads.
Have to agree.
We move on.
hope we get a good striker and a good full back in to replace them although with our resources I doubt we can get the quality that would make a difference
If you were him what would you do? Exactly.
Lennon should have got him on a longer deal back in September/October....He broke into the team and looked the part. If my employers waited until a few weeks before my contract was up before negotiating a new one I would be a bit pissed off and more than happy to go somewhere else.
Anybody with half a brain could have seen that Tess and Hassers were doing the buisiness...I blame Lennon and the board for their departures.
Hasselbank promised more than he produced but Tesselar is a bigger loss. At times he really played pretty well. I do agree with Scott ........ if Danny had wanted to keep them he should have spoken to them earlier but neither are worth breaking the bank for.
They are not setting their sights very high if Killie and Dundee Utd are their preferred clubs
