oaksoft
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/spfl-chiefs-propose-revamped-challenge-7207901#xsOllwMKv3T5UWcz.97 It's an interesting idea. Not sure about U-20s teams from the SPL or from England but other than that it's worth looking at. The idea of a Crusaders v Barry Town final not going down well in Scotland is irrelevant. That type of final could be held anywhere. Definitely worthy of consideration.
Kemp
Anyone checked if these Irish or Welsh teams would actually be interested? I could see it if Premier league teams were involved but otherwise why bother?
Bud the Baker
What have the Nor'n Irish, Welsh and EPL youth players done to deserve this? I don't see it being a money spinner either - the Nor'n Irish average attendance is exactly the same as our own Division 1 (963) whereas the LoW attendances (337) are below our Division 2 (527). http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attn.htm No thanks! pozbaird
Scottish football this week..... Couldn't agree on reconstruction, couldn't agree on how to tackle increasing sectarianism and violent incidents. Can't see how to tackle smoke bomb throwers... Erm, don't we have CCTV, police, stewards, the ability to dock points and issue bans? Anyway, it was why I started the 'couldn't agree on the colour of dug shite' thread... A diddy cup inviting more diddy teams from more diddy leagues though.... Aye, good yin'. The cnuts running Scottish football are a contemptable shower of utterly incompetent fcukwits. Wouldn't let them run a fcuking bath. Edited January 20, 2016 by pozbaird

saintnextlifetime
Anyone know what the current sponsorship/prize money is? Each player of the winning team , gets a lucky bag and two comics and one years supply of laces for his special boots. . ace. .
stlucifer
Absolute nonsense. TV would rather extend coverage of the conference than this stupid plan. The travelling alone makes it a non starter.
HSS
This is the last season of sponsorship from Petrofac.
beyond our ken
Just a daft notion-the source sounds like a real pillock as well I could just imagine Peterhead being happy about a first-round away tie against Airbus-not

Dalrybud
Er, sounds a bit like an expanded version of the old Anglo-Scottish Cup? Pity it wasn't this season. We could've had Sevco v Linfield in a bigot love-in.
