    Youngster In Contract Dispute

If possible I would like to get back on subject and talk about the contract dispute. Here is what I know: 1. The club bent over backwards for this kid - in the year when he had his £1 a week contract he is talking about he was unsure of his future to the point that he never came into the club for a full year - it is correct he didn't receive payment on his contract for the period but he was nowhere near the club for a year. 2. The boy and hid Dad have been angling for him to leave the club and his Dad quoted as saying he could just go and play for Queens Park. Who is the Manager? Gus obviously who is very bitter against the club and would do anything to get under its skin 3. Gus and Liam O'Donnell are close friends. Do you think it is only a coincidence that Liam O'Donnell is the lawyer representing Kiaran? I definitely smell a rat here. It gets even murkier when you consider the fact that Liam O'Donnell is also an agent and runs a business that Gus is also involved in. I would suggest that being a PFA lawyer and an agent is definitely a conflict of interests. The club have done nothing wrong here apart from supporting the boy and in turn are getting shafted and hung out to dry by the boy and his Dad. They should be ashamed of themselves and I hope he is seen for the little rat that he is.

In other words they conned a chunk of the 55 by making them think they were getting something more than we'll actually get. Kind of what we in the 45 have been saying all along.....

Everything i have stated is 100 percent accurate. Please feel free to do some research to confirm this. My post is to ensure the facts in this case are not misconstrued or lost.

There is something inherently wrong in the way that a lot of people are talking about this young man on this thread. People describing him as a rat or a traitor or whatever is completely uncalled for - NONE of you know the full story, NONE of you know the full contents of the contract, and NONE of you actually know this young man personally. There are a lot of people discussing the issue that need to grow up a hell of a lot more than the 18 year old in question.

    A9 Average Speed Cameras

It seems that the main argument against the speed cameras is that they are not the complete solution. That is an intellectually barren argument. Speed cameras will definitely help. There's never been a situation where introducing them has increased accidents. Therefore at worst we can expect the situation to remain as it is. At best we'll see those who are speeding sorted out. As for the overtaking. This is true but easily fixed - simply ban overtaking on the single carriageways. It beggars belief that people are actually whining about having to drive at 50 mph for a few hours. Why are people always in such a rush that they are prepared to risk their lives and everyone else's? Less than 100 years ago people couldn't have contemplated making this sort of trip at all. Now we are whining and moaning because it's 4 hours? FFS get a grip. Is it worth the risk just to catch the start of Eastenders?

"Family Fun Day" - apparently this involved listening to FIVE HOURS of speeches by boring f**kers like Tommy Sheridan, Dennis Canavan and Paul Brannigan. I bet the kids that were taken to this "fun" event can't thank their parents enough.

At a cost to the council which will means less money for council run services for the elderly and the vulnerable - which are already heavily squeezed thanks to the SNP policy of Council Tax freezes. Never mind though - the nasti Natsi's don't give a f**k about anyone who might have voted No.

    A9 Average Speed Cameras

Complete waste of time & Money, even if you drove this road and managed to avoid being behind a Caravan, lorry, slow driver or encounter Roadworks chances are you'll stop for a break at House of Bruar or Rallia, Money would have been better spent upgrading another section to Dual Carriageway or providing psychiatric help to the Guy in the layby just before Bruar. And what is the purpose of telling drivers that the camera's are not in operation ?

    A9 Average Speed Cameras

Strange article above. The section it mentions isn't part of the average speed plan and is dual carriageway. The comparisons with the A77 is also a poor one as it is dual carriageway already unlike most of the average speed sections of the A9. The mobile camera point north of Dunblane is situated at a 70mph stretch of dual carriageway. Don't know how 4000 drivers managed to get a fine for driving at the speed limit.... I personally don't think average speed cameras are a short term safety answer. When stuck in a queue on this road your speed is nowhere near 60mph so you will still have the same number of impatient drivers trying to overtake on these single carriageway sections. You'll still have e the same number of foreign tourists struggling with the change dual to single carriageway at several points.

IF the will of the scottish people was for the status quo, why did brown need to make his grand intervention 10 days before polling, when he offered "home rule" which the media reported as "devo max". Why did the 3 westminster leaders sign up for "the vow" which again was reported as "devo max". Why did no one correct this? Why in the last few days of the campaign did labour run a campaign of "if you dont know, vote no (and get more powers)" Why has polling over the last 2 years consistently shown that scots wanted devo max and would have voted for that if it had been available on the ballot paper?

Sell booze in the stadium, pub for 3 hours before the game, then hope the ref gives a couple of shite decisions against us early on, followed by a really crunching tackle from one of our players, then a bit of 'handbags' pushing with a few players. THAT gets the atmosphere going! But, especially the pished bit.
