Great to see old buds, exchanging a bit of banter. nothing like peado, wanker and fanny insults to get things going. Anyway. What a game. What a night, what a weekend and feck hogmanay hasn't even started yet. Big Sammy must get accolade for that save. United were all over us like a rash and that stop definitely saved the day. Thought we were much better in the second half and with Smith pushing up more we looked better. Lewis Morgan is sublime and the rest is history. What a crowd, The queues at the Bull were four deep after the game and buds still kept coming in. Back to NB Saturday and all that Old Firm pulava meant another afternoon of football related frolics had to be endured. With Hogmanay, ne'erday, greenock and then inverness on saturday its going to be hard week. let's hope the Super Saints have an easier time. So happy new year to all the puddin pullers and female appendages out there. See you on Tuesday.

I think the youngsters in w6 and w7 do a fantastic job. The atmosphere they created on Fri night was superb. Keep it up lads and lassies.

They did bring the toilet facilities up to 19th century standards a couple of years ago .

As you go through the away turnstiles ask for a voucher for the covered stand, and then walk round the back of the uncovered end when you get in. There will be someone there who will check your voucher and let you through to the main stand. No idea how much it holds, but it's a fair number.

Definitely a talented player, but not much use if he's always injured. I wish him all the best for the future.

Confirmed on OS that Hilson has left the club. Best of luck to him for the future.

    Speculation Thread

I wouldn't want Loy back since he had hardly kick a ball this season so would likely take weeks to get him match fit. I hope that whoever the manager bring in is fit and able to play right away.

Very big and very major, aye. In that case, even if it is something like the The Glasgow Airport Flightpath Stadium, fans would still call it Greenhill Rd, Love St, St Mirren Park, Feegie, the Methadome... Hell... Anything but New St Mirren Park please!

No Saints fan laughs when we go behind I understand always see the negative side as the kick in the stones is never far away But no one laughs at their team going behind

Chick is notoriously ill-informed in these things. Pinch of salt, I'd suggest.

Nobody has said he isn't but he gets his kicks acting like an absolute fanny every game, of that there's no dispute. I rarely engage with him, I leave that to Joe, as that's what he's after. My recent point is a few of the responses are, especially one, WAY over the top and if there was any moderation should be removed, IMO.

This is true. St Mirren fans can pay at a cash gate at the Dublin end (our usual one there).

I don't agree elvis is on the wind up, he's consistently, over the years, acting like a moron but a few of the posts aimed back at him are, IMO, over the top.

Someone on the wind up, but he's not the one who's throwing all the schoolboy abuse. They should really grow up.

He may well be taller, but he is slow and surprisingly not that great in the air compared to the centre halfs I have seen him play against in recent years.. Reilly on the other hand is mobile and has much better all round control... BUT the bottom line is - REILLY has scored 20 goals.. Sutton wont manage that many in a year.. unless he goes to the 2nd division.. I doubt there are many Saints fans who would rather see him play than Reilly... or Smith and he is not paying his way in value for us as a club on any terms....
