    Jack Ross Must Go.

Dave, there's nothing wrong with being wrong. I might even been wrong once myself. [emoji848] It's the one or two that continue to have unfounded digs or an attempt of a unsettling agenda at the slightest hiccup, that p!ss off most on here. [emoji106]

As I said before. If the club decide to bump the family stand fans to accommodate the blue and green people. then remove the cost of these games from South Stand season ticket prices. Thus allowing us the opportunity of deciding whether or not (for whatever reason), we want to sit elsewhere for these games, whilst at the same time not potentially losing out on any monies because of any action decided by the club if our season tickets have already been bought. All dependent on promotion of course.

    Jack Ross Must Go.

This thread should have been sent to the archives. I have been embarrassed and held my hands up for what I said about Jack I admitted I was wrong numerous times. If we manage to hold on to Jack Ross next season which I doubt and get promoted. If we struggle to stay up then I guarantee people will be on here slating JR. I have always said a manager should not be sacked unless they take us to a worse position than they inherited us. If we go up if anyone thinks we will be top 6 are deluded IMO

The last few games we've allowed incidents to put us off our stride - the Samson/Baird clash vs Livi and the missed penalty vs Brechin. hopefully we'll have recovered our resilience by the time the next game comes along be it Utd. on Friday or whoever.

I would imagine this would be called off early , but Dundee Utd are notorious for late postponements , the most famous being in the early 80s when we were still in the pub at 2:50 on a Saturday with World of Sport on the tv when a big banner across the screen said : Game off - Dundee Utd v St Mirren , We headed down the hill to the ground to find a baying crowd behind the the stand and Wee Jum was out to apologise and Toshie was getting ripped into him. Funny as f**k to see Tosh in a spitting rage !

I’ve heard there’s a guy in Arbroath who will happily make the short trip into Dundee and buy drinks for fellow Saints fans . Can’t remember his name though ?

I’ve said on previous threads, Uncle Roy has put a helluva lot of money into County and their academy and the word up there is he is getting a wee bit impatient about the lack of return , not financial but on the players front. He also has seen his and his family’s fortune take a severe dip , latest figures have his personal wealth having slipped to a mere £100 million. Perhaps a wee spell in the championship may be a Good thing for them , force them to bring through more junior teuchtars and get the local derby back on the agenda. I fancy Sneckie also may well be settling in for a prolonged spell in the championship.

Was going to post exactly that , 222 goals some achievement and an embarrassment to us as St Mirren fans and the whole process if he doesn't get a street named after him . I actually think he actually paid a transfer fee for himself so St Mirren could survive during a difficult time.

Dundee Utd v St Mirren, 10th April 2018

We dominated Brechin up until we missed the penalty and even after that we weren't unduly threatened, other than a speculative shot that hit the post. The only league game that we haven't dominated or deserved to win, of late, is against the second best team in the league, where we were the masters of our own downfall. Other teams have strengthened since January, so they're bound to provide us with stiffer opposition. A few of our players have gone off the boil, maybe due to tiredness as a result of their efforts in previous months. We've also added some personnel, which has disrupted matters a little. However, given the excellent job our players and management team have done so far for most of this season, we should have confidence in them to remedy the situation. We also shouldn't forget that Dundee United are in a pretty bad place and Livingston, although they have improved, haven't suddenly morphed into Los Galacticos overnight. We should try to enjoy our current position and get behind the team for the remainder of the season.

I have a season ticket (half) for the first time in some 30 years or so. I am already weighing up my options for next season. If we get promoted , would I be happy to sit in W5 and share the stand with the vile Neanderthal f**kwits that follow those horrible teams ? I’m not sure I would . As was said above , I agree ,my decision on purchasing one would be heavily influenced by the clubs position with regard to this matter.

It would be great to have a Clydebank FC back in Senior Football. Karma would be them beating Airdrie United (2002) FC in the Play Off to get promotit to SPFL2 and sending the dirty fecking Diamonds to the Lowland League. COME ON THE BANKIES !!!
