Not bad Shull, a personal attack on two players in the one thread then you have the bare faced cheek to talk about a "posse" !!! rounding on you. You really don't get it do you - the hypocrisy is laughable. Give it a rest it's beyond tedious

Danny Mullen burst a gut on Saturday, I was very pleased with his performance, he took some heavy(ish) tackles and handled himself superbly. Danny Mullen burst a gut on Tuesday, like everyone else he was kicked all over the park and not protected by a very poor referee. Danny Mullen has shown why Jack signed him and why he will be an asset next year. This thread is plumbing the depths of sanity, plumbing the depths of sanity indeed.

Sammy will be playing tonight. Now has a Club record of 8 consecutive Home shutouts. He will want to increase that.

Tony Fitzpatrick is a credit to our club. At every opportunity he talks the club up. Something all who profess to love the Paisley club should endeavour to do. In contrast look at the Craig Samson and Danny Mullen threads polluting this here forum. Gawn yersel Tony, gawn yersel indeed.

Shull is clearly at the wind-up. Danny is one of the hardest-working players in our squad. I've seen most of the games he's played for us. He is a constant threat to opposing defences and never gives less than 100% in my opinion. In the process he often gets some rough treatment from defenders. I don't condone diving, but I have not seen Danny dive. If others have seen him diving, then I would not defend him. On Saturday in particular, I thought Danny, and other St. Mirren players, deserved better protection from the referee. The Livi players seemed to get away with some pretty fierce tackles which I think other refs would have penalised.

We started this season with a 3-1 home win over the Bairns. Would be nice to bookend it (almost) with another home win against them, so I'll go for a 3-1 score. Would like to see players like Reilly, Stelios and Baird, all stalwarts from the early part of the season, given another chance to show what they can do. They haven't played all that much in recent games, so should be well-rested and raring to prove that they can be part of the Premiership squad........provided of course that they've recovered from the antics in the Bankhouse on Saturday night! COYS!!

Too much time on your hands can sometimes be a bad thing as this thread proves. We have just made fantastic history in the past 48 hours should every one not be joyful ?

I was watching the race live when it happened, felt sick to my stomach, the clips on the news channels don't show the whole incident, was awful to watch, the BBC actually apologised to viewers for the upsetting scenes, Steve Cram was raging, the female presenter with him am guessing must have left the commentator studio and no wonder,

I second that. Great memories of my trip to Mechelen. Also great memories of meeting Kjell and his crew at love Street when they came over to see a match before Love Street was no more. Great team and great fans.

    The 3 Monthly Spend

If you are paying your £12 per month you are definitely a member. £10 of that money was supposed to be going to a ring fenced fund to buy shares in the club. £2 of that money was supposed to be going into a discretionary fund that the members would vote on how to spend every 3 months on "St Mirren related community work outwith the club". In September 2016 that changed after the SMISA board sent out a survey asking members for their spending priorities. As they often do they set out the survey in rather a strange way - splitting stadium facilities into three different options. 559 members responded and the option deemed "Not an appropriate use of this money" by the largest percentage of those who voted was "The first team playing budget". Yet three months later - the very next vote - SMISA requested that the full discretionary pot be given to the club to boost the first team playing budget. That's not fake news - the survey results are shown here. https://www.smisa.net/images/docs/Surveys/Data_Q1_160918.pdf. It was that vote that saw me resign my membership. Like you say on the pitch things are fantastic. The team has, for the most part, played entertaining football. The club has won the league in a canter against most expectations - not least mine. And in the last three transfer windows St Mirren have managed to pull in income from the sale of players - Lewis Morgan being loaned back to the club. My complaint about the use of ring fenced funds is mostly procedural based. I'm disappointed that the £23 per month SMISA took from me for five months that should have been ring fenced for share purchase is now being used for other reasons. But there are bigger concerns. The lack of transparency, the lack of community benefit, the apparent lack of planning for the future, the failure to publish minutes of meetings, the allegation that even SMISA board members don't get to see the results of these ballots, and the over bearing influence being put on the group by one member who also just happens to be the majority shareholder at the Ltd Company SMISA keep putting money into is far more concerning in my opinion.

Dickson is easing himself back in by confining himself to the 3 Monthly Spend thread but I’m sure it won’t be long before we start getting his half baked views on life, the universe and the SNP.

Don’t recall him diving or squealing. He is great at winning free kicks in the last third. I don’t think he dives often, but get his body in a position that invites contact from defenders.

Tony is a legend and i love his positivity. I have a lot of faith in those in charge at the club right now and i'm looking forward to what comes next.

Exactly. Imagine being scared of failing and being made fun of by fans of other clubs. Every single player and member of staff including the board should be single-mindedly and obsessively focussed on trying to win the Premiership next season. If they are not then they should find another club because quite frankly what is the point of aiming for 6th or simple survival? Whether our chances are high or low is irrelevant. Being afraid to fail is pathetic really. Being afraid of being seen to be ambitious is beneath contempt. People can laugh but Leicester proved that money is not the barrier to success. Attitude is. If we fail, we fail but let's not hide behind excuses before a ball is kicked.

A little harsh Shull. The boy has taken some punishment over the past two games with precious little protection from the referees involved. He wasn't alone in that. He burst a gut for us again on Saturday. But......like you I don't like to see a player go down too easily...ours or the oppositions.

    Open top Bus and Party

Complete joke. One team town, no violence ever at SMFC games, and these cretins won't let you have a Saints scarf sitting on your table. About time such establishments were named and shamed and the significant community of drunkards that follows our club removed all business from them.
