  1. Been at every away game this season and I think the team owe the fans a decent performance. Cos it's been dross this season so far. At Perth we were shocking. But will be there tomorrow hoping for any kind of win. Coys.

  2. Dundee the City of Discovery. The land of Jute and Jam. Then there’s Paisley a town also once famous for its textiles and Golly wogs. (Oops! That was another disaster. McKay's 1 Roberston's 0) Now both have another thing in common the two shitest teams in the Premiership and tomorrow will give us an indication of who is the worst. What a build up!!! In the last two seasons the Saints have had no Joy in Dundee. Twice last season I went to Tannadice with high expectations and twice we were woeful. The season before Billy the fish, sold the jersey’s and big bad United kicked us all over the park in a 3-2 thriller which left us in a relegation playoff spot. Well this season we are already in the playoff spot hoping to avoid the automatic relegation position. Nothing suggests we won’t be woeful tomorrow. We don’t travel well. Our away form has been honking this season and we have only scored 5 league goals. We are so bad that a hearts player is our second top scorer. Then again, Dundee’s home form is just as bad and they have gained 0 points at home whilst we have gained 0 points away so tomorrow something must give. By default one of us or even both of us will get something. What a Build up!!! So, tomorrow we’re expected to travel in numbers to watch what must be billed as the Shitest game in the land contested by the two worst teams in the league. The two teams who have lost their last five games, scored the least goals and delivered defeat after defeat meet in the clash of the minions. Who says life in the Premiership is dull when you can watch teams with woeful away form play teams with atrocious home form for top dollar. Only an idiot would go to see shit like that See you all there. Can’t wait. In OK, we trust.

  3. As i alluded to before, i really fancy us to get a good win tomorrow by at least a two goal margin. Reasoning is, Oran is ahead of McIntyre in knowing who can actually do what now. Oran has gone through his 'trauma' period when he got no new manager bounce, and has picked himself up. McIntyre, i Believe is just going into that period, and the most outspoken voice from Dens is Miller, who has been pish (we dodged an expensive bullet there). Oran has got a few options now, he has been patient with the youngsters Stubbs signed, and that is now paying off for him. He has a realistic outlook on whoever gets the three points tomorrow, could see that overturned in the next league game. wheras everyone at Dundee are saying its a must win. So i think we will play the better football, and turn their anxiety to our advantage. We may have to be patient, but i think we will hurt them as, and when we put the pressure on. What are the odds on us to score three?

  4. If the players don’t get themselves up for this, they should all retire from the game and give it up. Get into this shite!

  5. Wangled hospitality for the wee man and myself tomorrow. Looking forward to it, but really nervous about the game. Our away form has been absolutely woeful, but surely we can get up for this one. Need a bit of belief and composure, as well as getting fired in. If we get bullied away from home yet again we’ll get beat. A win would be phenomenal, a draw would be a good result, but a defeat would just make our ‘troubles’ deeper and worryingly will give Dundee a boost. Fingers crossed it’s a positive turning point for our season. I’ll need to see if I can find the leg of my specs that got broken off celebrating that wee Stevie Mallan goal a few years ago. It was with a new pair to be fair.

  6. Torn about whether to go tomorrow. If I take the weans, it'll cost about £100 for the whole day. If I don't take the weans, it'll be cheaper but the only way I'll manage that is by pretending I'm just taking the bins out as I go for the train. But I hate listening to us on the radio, especially if Willie Miller is doing the game. Why can't we just be mediocre this season rather than really shite, then tomorrow wouldn't be that important.

  12. Can't see ether team scoring anywhere near three given both teams record. Jackson is more likely to score than Miller. Given our performances away from home it's hard to see a win but live and hope.

  13. I wouldn't play Mullen, not good enough, only my opinion though.

  14. If it's Jackson and Mullen, and windy, then we need to keep the ball on the deck. Pumping high balls up to them is pointless, even in good conditions. I þhink Mullen will be a right pain in the proverbial for their defence. I can our front two drawing yellow cards from their players - out of frustration.

  16. I think this game will say more about OK and McIntyre than anything. Both were upbeat in defeat, although Well thrashed Dundee on chances whilst Gers were a bit fortunate to beat us. So both teams on the back of multiple defeats , its kind of a unique situation. Neither team can make claim to be confident here...... we went there a few years back in terrible form and won 3-1. Hoping History repeats itself. But basically no clue, however if we do get stuffed I think we can safely assume we wont finish higher than 11th at best ..... this will say a lot about our present squad

  17. Perhaps SMISA (with members approval) could work something out with the organisers for SMISA to support the community Christmas meal every year.

  18. Too much optimism here for my liking, I’m not as confident as others, I reckon we will lose at least 3-0, we have a team with no heart or desire unfortunately.

  22. Looks like members of BTB are being shafted by SMISA and the club, How much of our £ 2 has been spent in the community ! Seems like the poodles are spending cash that should have been earmarked for spending on worthwhile causes are being spent on a professional football clubs upkeeps instead of what it was initially meant for, that in itself is a fcking disgrace l Basil 85 you sound like that wee scroat KTF from the CIC era , a crawling snake that is so far up GLS arse , That it would take a world renowned plastic surgeon to remove you from his Anus, You sir are an ace arse liker, Hope this helps !

  24. Plenty of superfit players in Scotland. Unfortunately lots can't perform the act of passing a football, tackling, shooting or even controlling a ball. Many concentrate on getting their hair perfect and wearing their favourite colour of boots. Also, some, I guess , actually practice diving and feigning injury rather than improving their footballing skills. AND THEY ALL GET VASTLY OVERPAID.

And i ask the question have i been going down the wrong road. iI WATCH PLAYERS WHO CANT HEAD THE BALL CANT TACKLE AND HAVE A PASSING RANGE OF 15 YDS. The last two games ive left just after halftime i would say i am exasperated to say the least.

  32. I might argue that point.......... 10th at Paisley off the back tee (413 yds) - Slightly uphill all the way with a slight dogleg turning right, thread it through the trees starting 150 yds off the tee and then up to the green probably another 180 yds to the green into the prevailing south-west wind, or.................. The 8th at Ranfurly Castle par 4 (454 yds off back tee) - always into the wind and uphill for the 2nd and probably third shots onto a two tier green. The first at Old Ranfurly is a very difficult hole, but I have never get inspired by it and don't rate it as a particularly good golf hole I have often sent myself to sleep thinking of the best holes in Renfrewshire and how you could make a magnificent course by combining many of the best holes. Happy to start the process, and the holes don't need to be in any order ............................. 5th hole at Old Ranfurly - 172 yard par 3 off the back tee, burn along the right all the way to the green. The green slightly raised with protecting bunkers left and right. Really good, challenging and fair golf hole.

  34. As we dont have a front man that would actually play against us. For me if we set up right, as in 4 at Back, 4 midfield and Jackson with Mullen up front we may have a chance, as long as everyone does their job. These players have already made history by our worse run in 49 years...... so I expect a fight, if we see the same crap as we did against Fakes we will get stuffed and quite frankly its golf and Scottish rugby for me

  36. And thein lies my case. Dundee really need to win, whereas a point is ok for us. And we'll get at least a point as long as we don't try and play for a draw. Must be positive and go for the win. Pepper their goal with shots -the me attempt we have the me chance there is of one going in.

  37. Thoroughly enjoyed Wednesday's game as it has been sorely missed whilst working away these last few years. Good to see faces old (Mr Zo) and new. Been playing 5s / 6s down south and took a bit of getting used to the bigger pitch... well, that's my excuse for some awful passing! I didn't score (mainly because big Mark is a greedy big b******!) but did assist a few in what ended up in a win for us bibs. Thanks to Callum G for facilitating and "Roberto" for dropping out to allow me a place - much appreciated, dudes. Looks like I'll be finishing 2018 with a 100% win record...

  40. as Buddiecat has pointed out, you've said it's a done deal. Although I fully expect resounding support for donating £500 to the Christmas meal for vulnerable people, your suggestion that it is a done deal brings this democratic process you keep harping on about into question. "Mask has slipped" was a term you used very recently.

Fair play to you Basil for having the patience to continue responding to this absolute cretin who obviously got drummed out of the SMISA committee for being an absolute walloper and seems to have made it his life’s work to try to get some sort of petty revenge by sniping at every single thing they do. Imagine taking pot shots at trying to provide money for a Christmas dinner for vulnerable people. An absolute roaster.

  43. I think it was John Collins who went from Celtic to Monaco in the mid-90's and realised that the diet and approach to fitness was miles behind in Scotland. Paul Lambert saw the same thing when he played in Germany. If we can get the players to think more about their overall fitness - their diet, what they eat to gain maximum physical performance, when they eat, when they sleep, what they drink, increase mental strength - it all has to be brought into the equation. I would be very surprised if Anton Ferdinand hasn't seen this and the benefits at various clubs he has been involved with.
