Sick of the whole f**king saga and the sheer incompetence, arrogance and f**kwittery shown by this weak government.

Shame the league doesn't have a winter break: he could have had the op then.

    The Bull Inn

It is some months since I tread the boards of the Bull Inn. A fine Paisley establishment that takes even I back to my youth. Up until about 4/5 years ago I was considered a regular and all the bar staff knew me by name. Even big Derek who was a [email protected] supporter (well I suppose he still will be). Lack of mobility sees me somewhat unable to attend New Street at all without a degree of difficulty. As such I use a nearby bowling club (with a dodgy Amazon stick for the football) for my beverage and televised football needs. I miss the Bull, I also miss the wee Howff and Paddy's as well. Yes I know the Howff is still there but I am unable to get to it now so I miss it. In any case after taking a prolonged break from a drinking establishment, going back is somewhat difficult as many of my contemporaries will be dead. On that cheery note I shall move on. The Bull is a really special pub as is the Howff (the market bar to men of my age). Of my many fond memories of the Bull I must say spending the evening of March 17th 2013 after using the finest football bus that was ever known to man to go from/to that pub was a special day. Great pub that has serviced some great people for a great number of years. As I think of the Bull I think of me and my dear old dad having many a pint together until I lost my favourite Buddie in 1967. I remember my dear old mother sitting in the lounge with her mill pals whilst I strutted around the bar like the proverbial man about town. I remember pals and bits of stuff alike, real characters nearly all of whom are long gone and I hope that in many years to come some young gentlemen is still able to look back upon a lifetime of memories as I am today based around the Bull (and the Howff/Market bar). Here's to the Bull, to the Bull indeed.

Well so far we have won a cup final last minute and lost one last minute. OK is keeping us in games we just need better clinical finishing. 2-1 Buddies

Exactly. Hopefully get him back in time for some crucial games, as his leadership qualities could help us through.

It has been holding him back for too long now. So with Tansey back this weekend, we have cover - best Stephen is back before the final games - they could be crucial to our survival. And at least there is a better chance of him being fully fit for next season. Get well and fully fit soon Stevie boy ! In the mean time - no room for sentiment or criticism - let's pick up valuable points and move up the table . . . 11th, then 10th

Only takes 1 out of 27 to knock it back? Arron Banks and his other crooked pals were over in Northern Italy last week meeting with representatives of the fascist Italian regime so they look likely to say no to extra time along with their counterparts in Hungary.

Could this op not have been carried out during the winter break? Perhaps it was not deemed serious enough at that time. Hindsight is a wonderful thing,

Yeah, that post you've quoted was me developing my point that it should have been done during the break. Totally agree. Maybe it was less serious then, but hernias don't go away, and he was already struggling. It's poor squad/injury management, IMO.

I think that's what gets me: it's been whispered about that he's been carrying an injury for some time, and some might say his performances have reflected that. Without knowing what the injury was, I assumed they were just trying to get him to the end of the season. However, know we know that it's a hernia, and while it's also true that hernias can be 'managed', hearing that there's a possible two-week recovery window, makes me utterly sure we should have acted sooner and pushed his op through.

We haven’t won many games with most players in the team Anyway, I actually feel quite positive about tomorrow. Liked the interviews Oran & Tansey gave yesterday. Doesn’t feel like there is doom in the dressing room. Just focussing on the last four games, If you’d had offered up a record of W-L-D-D every four games at the start of the season then i’d have taken it. We just need to keep the momentum going.

I'm abandoning my scientific approach as I lost on the Kilmarnock game, having us down for a 1-0 victory. (FU Oaky) St Johnstone (Can't buy a win) 1-0 St Mirren. C'mon Dundee and Hamilton, keep losing.

The vote to not leave is unenforceable, we said we were leaving on 29th and MP's voting no we wont, has no legal power to stop that. They should all be sacked for NOT carrying out what they were instructed to do. a boot in the baws and a P45.

    Gangs

I must have had my head in the clouds back then. I knew there were a load of wee nyaffs around but never thought it was a gang as such. Good on your old man and good on the Nice Policeman. Suppose someone on here will reprimand me for saying that. Years ago over here I was talking to a couple of RUC detectives in a Belfast pub and one of them had first joined the Polis in Greenock. When I told him I was from Paisley he went on to ask me if I knew Ferguslie Park. Apparently when there was action in Feegie on a Saturday night, some reinforcements occasionally got sent up from Greenock. This cop told me he enjoyed some of the most frightening nights of his life down there. The other cop told him not to be so stupid and asked him if Feegie was worse than Andytown, Short Strand or the Bogside and the answer was that they were all a dawdle compared to Feegie.

The Young Suicide down the Blackford Road end and the Hunterhill Team up the hill. I even remember Hawkhead Estate trying to have its own young team, the Hawkhead Loyalists. I've never met anyone who claimed to be in it.
