  1. I just watched Jim Goodwin's interview from official site he literally admits he went there looking for a draw he didn't think we could win the game with the players he had at his disposal .He really needs to get rid of his cautious approach and start believing in his team even Erwin said it was the plan to sit off them Jim really needs to change his mindset and start believing in his players rather than worrying about other teams because we are a good team being held back

  2. Great fightback last night. Durmus played well and got a deserved goal. Quaner looked the part - what a shame we haven't had a chance to see him properly until now - but perhaps a useful surprise to spring in the cup? When was the last time we could look forward to a Scottish Cup QF without worrying about a potential top flight relegation? Its a good feeling!

  3. I have to say watching that first goal back it is just magical, fantastic play. precision pass from Alnwick, brilliant control, pace and accuracy from Tait and controlled header from Erwin! wonderful goal and, if that was in the Hollywood EPL they would be raving about it! 👏🏻👏🏻

  4. You'd be forgiven for thinking we got skelped last night rather than deservedly winning with about 60% of a squad...

  7. Possible but how many games have we actually played for ninety minutes this season it's as if we are a one half team it's as if we are waiting to see how good other team are before deciding it's worth having a go it does my head in we should be letting other teams worry about us I honestly believe with a different mindset from the manager this season could have been so so much better than it is .He admitted he was to cautious last season but he's still doing the same thing guess a leopard can't change its spots.

  8. Great result and some good performances. Ilkay outstanding. Collin and young Jay meeting the challenge. And a special mention to Erwin for his goal and the great vision and pass for the second. Hope Ilkay stays and Collin decides he loves Paisley too much to leave.

Surely we would at least try to keep Quaner. If we bang on about quality and improving the team then he instantly does this if last night is anything to go by. He is physically very strong but also look at his decision making ? Outstanding on both occasions and well ahead of the vast majority in our team in terms of using his head

  12. What I meant was the irony of the split, where the team that finishes 7th can accumulate more points than ones above. IMO apart from the old firm and maybe county and accies there isn't that much of a gulf between other 8 and all it takes is a good or bad run to end up in right or wrong side of split.

  13. In fairness Doogie, on this occasion I think Elvis makes a good point. I read his post as not saying we haven’t had a really good season by our standards, just that in certain games, with a different mindset, our season could’ve been even better.

  14. Was taking my 6 year old to the games during the Millennium champions season. Said it was boring, it was explained to him that was as good as it will get. [emoji1787] Dragged him to some games though he was happy to make an appearance with my big mate Charlie Charolais for the 2006 championship winning game. [emoji233]

  16. In fairness, I think last night's tactics were probably down to injuries and a much reduced squad

  18. In the case of Durmus, I'd say yes you are. He's been consistently good for us across his 2 years apart from a 3 month spell at the start of the season.

Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you delete or correct it, that'll be the end of it. [emoji34] Bastrad [emoji1787]

  21. When Durmus arrived I wasn't convinced he was any good, if he didn't beat his man with his first couple of attempts his confidence dropped and he didn't want the ball. Fair play to him, he has become a very important addition to the squad. I don't like him as much on the right or in the wing back role but he's done well regardless of where he has been asked to play. I really hope we can keep him.

Slightly surprised at this given his total lack of game time especially during the horrendous run of games we had in February. Reid and Henderson have played more.

  23. Backchat was next door Cannes. If you exited Cannes and went right, the entrance to Backchat was up a rather steep set of stairs. It took a lot of concentration to get up them whilst pished under the gaze of the bouncers. Any stumbles and you were out on your arse.

  24. One wee observation and in fairness I don’t know if it would be an issue for your job is that in the game I’m in (Oil and Gas) they never run control and power cables on the same tray (don’t think they do it in trenches either but not sure), so if you are running a power and data cable in a wee trench - it may be prudent to insulate them.

  25. I’m no expert on these things but are you able to run a cable from the house to the summerhouse? Alternatively I wonder if there is a method where the summerhouse can have its own unique WiFi - bound to be a way!!

  30. Won't happen but part of me would like to see them go - even in a bad season Celtic have won 21/35 matches, would their fans be hap py to spend 4/5 season in the bottom half of the Superleague? 4/5 seasons where they might miss out on European football - that would be a glorious irony!

  32. Ironically we will finish 7th with more points than livi and fakes. Just really shows the pressure that 1 game had and I'm sure those who are already under contract or decide to extend will be better for it next season. Expectations have changed I think.

  34. No one is saying we didn't deserve to win .I'm saying we should let the team off the reingns And stop being so cautious and only playing for 45 minutes.

So, while the UK has seen a steady drop in numbers the BBC have switched their attention to India. Their, the BBC, obsession with "big numbers" has catapulted India into their headline news. The reality is that India is WAY down at 120 in the world for death per million. The media, as a whole, have been at this since day one, a complete lack of balance and preferring the "scaremongering" approach.

  44. I think we are safe as well - it's exceptionally unlikely that Killie/Ross C will win 4 and we will lose 4 but it's still a possibility. That possibility goes tonight if either Ross C or Killie don't win which I think is likely. Hopefully all moot by 10pm tonight
