    Coronavirus

Breakfast TV this morning reporting that the Government are set to announce more Covid restrictions today.😩 Apparently they want to take steps to restrict the number of keyboard experts spouting shite from both sides of the debate to a maximum of 5 pages of dialogue . There have been reports of some debates ( for debates read personal abuse ping pong ) going on for over 540 pages !! Would you believe it ? 🤷‍♂️

  10. I think it would have to be the great escape against Motherwell. Was at work on a tour staying in Fishers Hotel in Pitlochry watching final score. Ended up dancing round my room, good job it was 2 floors up and facing the back😂😂

With your apparent “grandiose” understanding of the business (and real life) world this should be no surprise to you and something you’d “ordinarily” support.

  14. 2nd goal at Somerset to keep us in the premier league under fergie. Huge guy next to me with massive beard and even longer scarf was bouncing me around like dog toy and I was just letting him with not a care in the world. I wonder where he is now I could do with a pen pal.

  16. Bat out of Hell was one of those “must have” albums for many people my age , loved every track on it and would regularly dig it out and have another listen, might well do so tonight . Headphones and a glass of Vino in hand.

  17. I agree with the 87 cup final goal, at the time yeah we won the cup however my dad was in tears as he had been at the win in 59, the loss in 62. We still watch the league cup now and again when they come over, still got it on planner. Not forgetting the irn bru cup final, took him up to that to be honest just for him to see us in a final and the atmosphere did it for him.

  22. A big welcome to our new striker who may be involved tonight. St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Alex Greive from Birkenhead United subject to international clearance. The 22-year-old forward joins the club on an 18-month deal from the New Zealand side with whom we announced a strategic partnership with last year. Alex was a part of the New Zealand Olympic Provisional squad for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games and scored 25 goals in 33 games in 2021 – including three hat-tricks in a row. His performances last year earned him a place in the ISPS Handa Men’s Premiership Team of the Season as well as being named the regional MVP (Northern League) in the New Zealand National League.

  25. I scored three hat-tricks in a row up the top of Saucel Hill during the summer holidays in 1974. One of the goals was in off the jumpers. Never got me a call up.

  27. Tickets purchased. Up for a week and getting two games in. A rare treat for me. Really looking forward to this one. Used to love going to Ayr. Don’t think I’ve been since the mid 80s when Fraser Campbell scored the only goal of the game relatively late on to much relief from the away support. Think someone said earlier on this thread that Somerset Park was a shithole. Totally disagree. I love it. Proper old fitba ground.

  28. A perfect scenario if an English comes in and signs him now. Use some of the fee we receive towards going for Allan.

  29. Correct. The prices are what Ayr charges for championship games so fair due to both clubs for not charging more.

  32. We are all Arbroath FC. If they win the league, I reckon that will be a bigger achievement than Leicester winning the Premiership! [emoji50][emoji50][emoji50] A part time team. Favourites for relegation. Punching above their weight. They remind me of 1977 St Mirren who had part time players and no chance. Favourites for relegation. One of the players was John Young... Current Arbroath coach. The Campbell twins are old school a la Fergie. It's 2 fingers at the hierarchy's eletist entitled attitude! Mon the Red Lichties! Coronavirus

Yes, the clarity of thesituation has been muddied by the lack of distinction between 'with covid' and 'of covid' the important point in the statistical battle is that the measure is consistently maintained and there is certainly some doubt over people's use of the data to suit their agenda.

  36. Got loads really very hard to choose.. 1987 cup final goal... 3rd goal semifinal against Celtic 2013.. Conor McCarthy 3rd against Rangers last season.... but probably need to pick Stephen McGinn's goal against Rangers 2008.. strangely bet365 were offering 18/1 I thought anything could happen here 🤔 we could fluke a goal or get a penalty I'll have some of that £50 worth... 30 seconds later GOAL 😂 had a very nervous last 20mins mind

    Coronavirus

And that's where the comparisons largely stop over the last two years. Covid is not a mild virus and as such hasn't been treated like milder, less harmful virus... like the flu.

  42. Great result but let them come on to us too much in the second half. We had them on toast with our pressing game in the first half so why did we change it? Also, the ref was a total fud - for both teams!

  46. Our run of upcoming fixtures is utterly disgraceful. How can it be possible that our next three home fixtures are all midweek - due to personal circumstances this makes them pretty much impossible for me to attend. Our next Saturday home game is vs Hearts on 26 February. My season ticket is costing me about £45 per match attended.
