  1. What's on your mind?

  2. Eclectic choices sir. I had completely forgotten Electra glide. Very much an arty film of its time. A matter of life and death as above, still watch it on DVD. Il Postino is a wee gem of a picture.
  3. Dear God, googled and found a 1 minute clip of it.
  4. Had to google for that one. Aye she's a big lassie right enough. This could lead to a top fives meets the nightshift thang.
  5. Glover. Oh Lord yes. It was only in comparison to Sweet Sixteen, whic I have on DVD, that I went for Kes, the best of his oeuvre. If I want the shit side of my home town I'll get Peter McDougall's stuff.
  6. Loach is very over-rated. Kes was his best work, and that's a long time ago.
  7. Top 5, difficult. Casablanca, Die Wacht am Rhein morphing into La Marseillaise Clicky Dirty Harry, Now i know you're asking yourself, did he fire 6 shots or only5. Final scene from the Searchers. Clicky Peter Sellers is magnificent in Dr Strangelove. And now it's
  8. My lord NSS, that name's a blast from the past. She was a BIG lassie though.
  9. The beach is really superb. Though the day I encountered the remains of a dead and rank smelling seal will remain in my memory for some time. I smelled the bluidy thing about 300 yards before I found the remains. Walking around the extreme southern tip is lovely, looking west is Arran, great sight. Lovely campsite at Macrahanish though it can get a bit noisy when hercs are taking of from the airbase.
  10. Nope, doing this on laptop with latest firefox and XP pro.
  11. Wonderful and logical, also perpetual calendar shows 9 Aug 1958 to be a saturday. Calendrical clicky.
  12. Chaps there's a simple cure for all of this. Don't use Internet explorer. Download Mozilla firefox. Be careful when you are visiting adult sites.
  13. Ach well two of us know the script about alienware. I must admit I never saw the need for a gaming laptop which would be the only reason to splash over £1,000 on a laptop which will give poorer performance than a comparably priced desktop. Each to their own.
  14. You're interested in outlets in Greenock? Dr Freud will see you soon.
  15. Hilarious homo-fest. Platoon- wonderful film, well scripted and acted. Battle of the bulge, good for playing spot the actors. Robert Shaw is excellent. Telly Salvalas has the role he reprises in Kelly's Heroes. Tank saddoes wil lament that samerican M60 tanks are used as tigers. Patton, Lust for Glory is IMO a better film
  16. Excellent call. Some great songs from his pen. "Lawyers, guns and Money" and "Mohammed's Radio" and great choons. Currently grooving to the Byrds. Sequence of "Ballad of Easy Rider", "Mr Tambourine Man" and "Turn, Turn, Turn".
  17. You're forgiven. Saturday's Times is fine for the two T2 crosswords. Lady McB(eth) and I enjoy a joint crossword.
  18. You read the "Mail on Sunday"? Should you not be on a "Darkies are Ruining our Country" forum?
  19. Beat me to the punch. As a God botherer may I state that I've never seen the fecking show.
  20. Not to sure about that, to the medieval mind such encounters were often a sign of coupling with satanic forces. Wiki clicky. The article is slightly wrong about the Malleus, the book states that an incubus and succubus were two facets of the same demon. See me, see reading too much p1sh. Oh aye, and the correct translation of Malleus Maleficarum is " Hammer of Evil"
  21. "Gary don't need his eyes to see, Gary and his eyes have parted companee" Cracking memories of '77. Made me dig out Tom Lehrer's "I hold your hand in mine."
