  1. I recently visited my grandfather-in-law in Erskine hospital. Whilst there I noticed on the wall they have a wish tree where they have a picture up of themselves and a wish written beside it, "trip to Largs" etc. and once they have had their wish it is taken off the tree. One elderly man has "A trip to St Mirren Park" written on it. It has been up there the past few times I have visited. I'm not sure if he wants to see a game or just visit the ground for a tour but does anyone currently take a group of elderly/special needs fans that could facilitate this?
  2. I thought we had gates for the car park? Probably Mo*ton fans up early for the Renfrewshire Cup
  3. So no launch on the fishal site then? Guess its back to the perma tanned dafties at the awards dinner...
  4. I've never spoken to big Thommo but his mother in law lives in the same street as my parents. It's not completely unrealistic to think that a poster might know some info you dont. Then again they might be talking shite.
  5. Collapsed, died and been cremated...
  6. Never mind throwing them on the pitch, should just fire them straight at the directors box. Might be a bit of a challenge for those in the west and family stands.
  7. Does anyone know how many of our players are out of contract at the end of the season? It's something I hadn't thought about and is quite worrying as they wont give a f**k if they are offski anyway.
  8. I always wondered why Sportscene was so shite compared to Match of the Day. Do Sky have cameras at all the games and BBC use the footage? The one camera angle is always jobby in the highlights we get
  9. Surely the fact that we still haven't appointed a new manager or confirmed Teale as the man, suggests that there is a deal imminent?
  10. What is this Goodie, Michael Stewart thing? I saw a meme on twitter too with Goodie imagining the ball was Stewarts head.
  11. Good stuff, more patience than me obviously
  12. Really? News to me! Yes i know there are however i was merely looking at to achieve or maintain that ratio over some of the next games and ten was a nice number to go with. If you like you can sit and work it out for the further 7 games!
  13. A friends dad has always maintained that having the same points as games played SHOULD keep you up. With that in mind and looking at our next 10 games, a couple of scenarios to get us those 20 points (stop laughing) could be: 6 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses or 5 wins, 5 draws, and 0 losses. If that is a rough minimum, can we do this? I try to stay optimistic but that is looking like a tall order. COYS!! Edit to add, I understand there are more than 31 games but was just looking at a small amount of the games in order to get an idea of the type of form we would have to produce, and then maintain thereafter.
  14. To be completely honest, I doubt we will ever find the fabled Saints fans takeover group. It's a fantasy. Fair play to the board, doing their homework first on the potential new owners. However if the deal is off they can get the finger out and sort out the manager and squad issues at hand.
  15. I would rather see him head down south than go to Celtic. They have a habit of buying up promising young Scottish players and then leaving them in the wilderness. All the best to John if he does go though as he deserves to go far.
  16. Actually, on closer inspection it looks like one of our boys has planted one on Christie. Think its just the perpecstive making it look like he is doing John.
  17. This! I've no doubt Thommo will manage us one day, but he is smart enough to cut his teeth elsewhere first. Look at Sally at R*ngers, he could do no wrong until he took over as manager.
  18. Brilliant news! A tough one for the board but definitely the right decision. Looking forward to getting behind the team and hopefully enjoying Saturdays again! Yeeehaaaaaa
  19. Seems like the auld codger will survive another Monday! PLEASE JUST f**k OFF TOMMY!!
  20. Completely depressed with the whole situation. Every Monday I find myself checking the forum and the sport websites in the hope of some anouncement of a managerial change. I cannot afford a season ticket but I go along and support when time and money permits, however i have completely stopped going now. I am no longer willing to give money to the current regime. I do feel sorry for the season ticket holders who may feel like they would like to do something else with their Saturdays in the current form but have already payed their money. Something has to change and soon, our support is currently being put in a shite position and unless a takeover is imminent the change needs to be the manager.
