Ball Boy (2/14)

  1. Some of the pish spouted on this site these days really makes me despair. Aye, it's been a shite start to the season, but for f**k's sake it's been 6 f**king games!! I can't believe the utter gash that I'm reading. The post that the BOD are to blame was one that wound me up particularly. Those guys are the reason we've even still got a club to be bitching and whinging about. That, in my opinion should make them fairly untouchable to the knicker wetting and predicatable pish being spouted about budgets etc. f**k off! As for the manager's position. I for one didn't want Gus to be sacked. However I'm not on here giving it the "I told you so's" like some people. We are where we are and we have the manager we have. He's had six games. Hardly enough time to be judged, or it certainly shouldn't be. Someone mentioned that DL was the only applicant for the job. Other people are saying we should bin him now and get someone new in. How many applicants would there be for a job at a club where the f**kwit "fans" demand the manager's head on a plate after 6 games?? And if the board give in to fan pressure and bin him......what then?? Pay him off and give someone else 6 games to sort it out? Assuming someone actually wants the job of course. At least give the guy a decent crack at it before you condemn him. I can take watching shite football if it means results (Gus era), and as it stands I can handle watching a team that is clearly still trying to gel with new players and a manager adapting to life in the SPL. But the kind of pish written on this board sometimes really makes me embarassed to be a St Mirren fan. We must have the most unrealistic and demanding fans outwith the OF and if anyone thinks that this negativity from the fans has no effect on the way the team play or an apparent lack of team spirit then they are sadly, sadly misguided. If I were a player at the club i wouldn't feel any affilliation with the support considering the abuse that's projected at the team every week. I've even seen previous teams booed whilst winning games....I mean...that's grade A bawbaggery of the highest order. Everyone is entitled to offer an opinion, and I've no doubt everyone who bothers to post on here genuinely believes they have the best interests of THEIR club at heart. But FFS if all you ever talk about is failure, if all you ever offer is negativity and if you batter the players / coach for any mistakes they make then ultimately you're going to be proven right....it's a ridiculously self fulfilling prophecy and a f**king massive waste of everyone's time and effort. Some people seriously need to get a grip!
  2. I may be in.......let operation "Teddy Bears Picnic" commence!
  3. Good site....just logged into it. Anybuddie know how to save the music itself into say, Media player....?
  4. I was once removing my drunken and notoriously feeble mate from a heated situation in The Institute. Unbeknown to him the guy he had just drunkenly stoated into was a bit tasty at the boxing and would have reduced him to blood and teeth fragments in miliseconds. As he questioned my logic for trying to defuse the situation I told him that I just didn't fancy seeing my mate getting the shit kicked out of him, to which the drunken fud replied sincerely "How? Do you know that c@nt??" F'kin magic!!
  5. I'd still pump her winter heating allowance oot her....
  6. This auld bassa would still receive it......
  7. Hope he turns out to be a good signing. I heard this at work this afternoon and just about had to smuggle the toffee hammer in my slacks out of the building I was so excited at the prospect of finally getting a decent left back to the club again. Been a long time since Julian Broddle's days
  8. Oh aye....ricky Wilson. What a CANT!! In fact the entire Kaiser Chiefs are tools. I mean......who lets the bloody drummer write the songs ffs?!?!?!
  9. Oh fook......I forgot about P diddle...errr, puff dandy, pish damply, puff dinkle or whatever his name is this week (court case pending ) He's also a pwick!
  10. I'll resist the urge to list the aforementioned Mr Borrell in all 5 slots.... 5) Chris Martin - Coldplay 4) Luke Pritchard (I think) from the Kooks 3) Pharrell Williams - NERD 2) The wee eckie head from East 17 1) Jonny FECKIN Borrell - what a prize fud!! Please note: I've refused to list Bono or either of the Gallagher brothers because I likes them. You may choose to offer a different opinion however so fire away!
  11. I have it on good authority that he always will be
  12. Norrie is my all time favourite Saints player and ss a modern legend! I remember seeing him when he was first breaking through in the reserves, he scored a feckin wonder goal where he beat around four players whilst running from deep in his own half before slotting it past the keeper. From there his performances just got better and better, until he was injured. Never the quickest and slated for being too small for a centre half / sweeper he read games incredibly well and was a match for most in the air. As someone else mentioned, he was very composed on the ball and weighed in with his share of goals too. It was painful to see him suffer in a pish saints team being paired with diddies like Lex Baillie. Always interesting to read that Lambert often says that he wonders what Norrie would have become had it not been for his injury problems. I think he realises that things could have been very different had he suffered the injuries and Norrie didn't. Actually saw the man himself yesterday in a local shop. Looks as if he's doing some sort of trade work (Joiner, sparky....dunno) would love to see him back in football as a coach or manager. Think Norrie and Lambert could be a good pairing. After all, they learnt their trade at the original Home of Scottish football

    Torrentspy

Was talking to a friend yesterday who mentioned he'd been "coming across" certain useful pieces of software, music and movies using Torrentspy. He also mentioned that to run it you need some form of Javascript program. Now given that I was extremely hungover at the time I must confess my concentration wasn't 100% and I glazed over as he started getting technical.......however the thought of hoovering up much needed software and movies etc certainly put some much needed RAM in my hard drive..... Can anyone shed any light on this? Anyone using it successfully at the minute?
