I like danny infinitely more than gus, but I think he has lost the ability to manage st mirren, I traveled up from england six times last season, and five times the season before that, but I don't think I'll be back until we have a new manager, I don't want to travel 400 miles and see what I have been seeing, I would be afraid of losing it with Danny at the dugout, I did this once before with John Coughlin at Love street when we were 4-0 down and rank rotten, and it is not nice to feel that you have to do that because the team you love are unraveling before your eyes due to poor management and the bod doing nothing about it.

I had hoped that Danny and St Mirren had parted ways by now. However, we have to accept the fact that he will be in charge for the Motherwell game. This raises a lot of questions. 1: A lot of st mirren fans will be expecting him to fail and get the tactics wrong 2: Any time a Saints player makes a mistake it will be magnified. 3: Is this not added pressure that the club does not need at this point? 4: Are we stuck with Danny because we can't afford to pay him off? I honestly think Danny is better off managing Tattie Bogle United in the Simit and Drawers league, it would be better for his health, he might stop looking like his granda.

In my opinion, the nightmare scenario is Hearts going above us and being stranded at the bottom, this would be a huge psychological blow. With Danny as manager this is in danger of happening. We need a new manager in to stop this. Danny will always be lauded and remembered for delivering us the league cup, but he has lost something in these past few months and he no longer has the ability to manage this club. What bothers a lot of saints fans is the fact that hovering around the bottom of the league is no longer acceptable we have heard all the excuses week in week out, and it is plain to see that the manager can't manage.
