I have always liked Magennis for his pace and engine to get around the pitch. He's also a threat in front of goal. Given a chance, I think he could do a great job for us. Our captain played as a centre half in the semi-final and the final of our glorious cup win in 2013. These games were two of our best results and performances at the highest level for many a year. Jim played his part in that at the position of centre half. I'd be happy for him to plug the gap in defence anytime.

Sorry to mention Bud, but Bahoken had 2 shots saved by Mannus in our last game. Just saying...

People have short memories and seem to fotget the players that Danny has brought to the club who have been great to watch and made great contributions to the team: Permanent: Samson Kello Dillo Van Zanten (2nd spell at club) Traevner Tessalaar McAusland (2nd spell at club) McGregor Goodwin McGowan Teale Thompson Hasselbaink Loan: Dummett Newton Campbell Goncalves Not to mention all the young, raw talent he has turned into very good first team players, all of whom he gave their debuts: McLean McGinn Kelly Naismith I think Danny has done well to keep us in the top flight for 4 years, given us our highest top flight finish for almost 30 years, given us our first national trophy in 26 years, turned youth players into first team players and has us playing a decent standard of football to watch. IMHO he is definitely worth a new contract and I would be more than happy for his level of success at our club to continue.
