This could not be done if we were relegated ,so really don't believe the board have that idea,as for playing Morton or Rangers benefiting us with attendances or tv revenue ,We play Celtic at home and that usually gets shown on tv,as for Morton bringing big crowds ,Killie ,Hibs and Hearts ect with the exception of ICT and Ross County bring bigger crowds than the likes of Livingston ,Hamilton and so on.

Yes that's true but we drew with 10 man Killie at home while Hibs beat them at Rugby Park , this week we play Partick at home ,they beat Ross County away 3-1,we have scored 1 goal in 3 games .

Was it at significant cost , we don't really know that for sure ,it was rendered mutual consent and the players signed with other clubs ,we could have held them to their contracts and not played them at no extra cost ie bonuses .On the other hand ,remember what the SFA done with Levein ,they still had him under contract even although he was no longer involved with the team and he had to go through lawyers to be released.

What Hearts situation ,they have already clawed back 6 points on us ,after only 4 games ,our game in hand is Celtic away .

I don't believe any Arab or Russians will buy our club ,I mean a wee bit of tongue in cheek , the problem is the board have had a couple of offers which they deem either not enough ,or not suitable and hats off to them ,they are keeping the clubs interest foremost. Realistically we are not a good investment ,small supporter base and a stadium that would not really be ideal for increasing capacity if the occasion arose for us to require it.

You just hope that its not player power that's churning out these results ,if so that's an insult to every supporter that puts their cash into the club and helps pay the players salaries.

I was looking at the Spanish team that won the Euro's ,they played without strikers and had a fullback in Alba who was more like a winger .Puyol a centre half was at times more like a centre forward ,they set up 4-6-0 . That could be the case ,but is the float a player budget ,if so the transfer window closes in a few days ,or is it to pay off DL ,good chance they would do another Gus scenario and just pay till end of his contract while on "gardening leave"

But if a sale is close ,its still early in the season ,the club is sold on ,having no debt allows new owners [ hopefully some Arab or Russian looking for a toy] more money to invest in the squad as there is no debt to maintain .

You could almost get the impression that being debt free is a position that is maybe a bit more attractive to would be buyers .
