Inter City Saint reacted to Jakub Friedrichsen in St Mirren Strip 13/14
I bought the shirt on Friday afternoon. The design of last Season's Home strip, in my opinion, was superb. It was one of the best designed strips there's been in my time supporting the club. Unfortunately the material was a bit shabby and, like Season 2011/2012, the little logos as well as the Diadora letters started to peel off quite quickly.
This Season I think the shirt feels a bit better in terms of the quality of the material and having the Diadora logo sewn onto the shirt should solve the problem of it peeling off. I would have preferred the sleeves to have had stripes instead of the entire one colour but that's my only real gripe for want of a better word. I actually don't mind the yellow at all; indeed yellow is the third prominent colour on the Club crest so nothing wrong there.
At the end of the day, it's still a St. Mirren shirt, I bought it and it's something to wear to the game. Those who can afford it will probably buy it, those that can't will wait until they can afford it or for it to be reduced in price before buying it and those who have children will be emptying their wallets faster than an oil baron in charge of a Premiership Football Team.

I think I spotted your car the other day...
The tax disc is out of date - make sure the Blue Meanies or the Rozzers don't catch you!

Maybe we'll be trying to make them feel more threatened by our Germanic style strip.

Inter City Saint reacted to Jakub Friedrichsen in New Kit 2013-14 Sneak Peek
Yip, that was my first thought too about the Away Strip. Overall I like all three kits. I admit that there are bits and pieces I wouldn't have personally designed in them. I've already said I prefer stripes on the Home sleeves as opposed to one colour but hey, I bought it a couple of weeks ago anyway. For the Away one, as aforementioned, I agree with Bungle1981 that without the solitary stripe it would be first class. The Third kit is exceptional although I'm not fond of the traditional colours being taken out of the badge for it.
Apart from these minor details they're decent and good kits. Well done to all involved.

That strip gives me an idea! We should have an Away strip in camouflage style. The opposition won't know what's hit them.

That was a real kit that African countries that have their official kits made by PUMA were given to wear as a third kit. It was used to promote 2010 Year of Biodiversity and proved a hit with supporters. Whether or not they actually wore it in competitive matches or not I don't know.

Something like this would be good:-
Change the colour of the shorts and socks from brown to black though or yellow?

Inter City Saint reacted to Stuart Dickson in Scottish Professional Football League
This - absolutely. Why would any big Junior club want to lose their powerful status within the Junior League set up to become a toothless bit player in the lower leagues of the Scottish Professional Football League? It's an absolute fallacy to assume that those clubs, their supporters, and their committees see the senior leagues as their zenith.
The news today is a disaster for Scottish Football. The only positive is that we now have one less body f**king up the game, but even that's mooted by the fact that the body doing the takeover is probably the least competent and most corrupted by money of the lot. The games customers don't get anything they want. No expanded leagues, no more variation in opposition, no prospect of lower gate prices or even of better financial management by the financially failing teams in the top flight. It's about as pish as it gets - and all because the clubs in the top two divisions decided they would force through the change with a series of financial threats aimed at the clubs at the bottom of the 42.
I guess there's no reason for me to end my boycott

Image 126 was originally the Paisley Grammar School Penilee Sports Pavillion. Penilee Road. A Listed. Art Deco. Constructed in 1937. Architect H Cook.
Now the Ralston Community Sports Centre.
I just love this building but had been totally unaware of it until recently. Not been inside but from the outside its like going back in time. Beautiful building.
(And yes, it is in Paisley!).

Inter City Saint reacted in So Farewell Hertz?
I feel sorry for fans who have paid and are willing to pay again in response to the administrators plea. That said the administrator is only looking at keeping it going until a sale can be agreed, and if it can't all that fan money will be gone.
If a sale does go through, does anyone honestly think that the new owners won't be looking for another issue of season ticket sales (bearing in mind they will have stumped up cash for a club where all the gate money has already gone again).
It is criminal what HMFC did since last November with plea after plea for more fans cash, I don't see what the administrator is doing as any different because even they have no idea if it will help sell the club as is. It really should be liquidated and then the fans can see what difference their money can make. I can't see it ending with anything other than liquidation given that any new owner will want to sell 15000 ST's all over again to fund the fecking thing to season end!

Inter City Saint reacted to Dibbles old paperboy in So Farewell Hertz?
I wonder if Hearts end up liquidated by Christmas if Neil Doncaster will claim the events were unforeseeable?
There surely have to be doubts about whether Hearts can honestly fulfil this coming season's fixture list.

You should go elsewhere.
Cycling is inherently very simple.
Grab two wheels and start pedaling.
What could be more simple than that.
All the rest is bollox to make you pay more money than you need.
Mountain bike, road bike, trail bike, ladies bike............all bollox...a bike is a bike unless you are the sort of twat who thinks wearing lycra makes you Bradley Wiggins by rights.
Just grab a bike you like the look of and feels comfy and go for it.

Inter City Saint reacted to bud77 in Richard Brittan Wants Out
The thing is Brittan effectively signed a contract agreeing to join St J. If St J had turned round now and said 'We don't want you any longer' they would be slated for it. If this goes to the sports arbitration council and they decide a footballer can rip us a contract any time he likes that could cause real problems. Just imagine if someone like McGowan was offered a contract for a premiership team today and he could say ok, rip up his Saint Mirren contract and walk away.
