Wow. we need to get in a proper coach who has actually played professional football. He cant attract the best young players. he's been in charge for a decade now and the number of stars he has unearthed is poor. he's a cheap option as are all his clueless wee boy coaches. we need a total clear out of the youth system and longwell should go asap.

Stuart Dickson is correct. In terms of transfer fees, our youth system has been shit. We need to get rid of longwell and get in someone who actually knows wot they r doing.

Most goals come from regains of possession in the last third. reference Argentina v Belgium for a classic example. Goals rarely come from possession play against organised defences. we should be teaching kids to get the ball into attacking areas as quickly and as often as possible and then to win possession. Flair players and attackers can then do the business. teaching possession play is a backward step. Its also boring. shull has got it right.

I cant understand why folk r surprised that clubs in England aren't after mclean. Thinking back to the 80s when there was far less cash and loads of Scots in England, even billy stark spent his whole career in Scotland. We lost Paul lambert to Motherwell ffs. McLean is decent but he's not in that league. Mcginn will get a club in England.
