I support Danny Tommy and the players will be there on Monday as I am every week. started the thread because I wanted to know who would play left back on Monday so thought I would ask fellow fans who there team would be for Aberdeen what's wrong with that? I don't pretend to be a manager but do have an opinion. I would question how supporting the team means attacking other fans? If you don't like the threads why reply with negative comments why not just shut up?. You are not the thread police!

I don't think McLean has done anything to deserve the abuse he takes. Simon lappin got the same level of abuse and I don't know why?. Mcginn is a good young player but also think apart from newcatsle game has not showed the form he did pre cup. I think with young players you get the effort energy and enthusiasm you want to see in all footballers but at the cost of consistency. McLean and mcginn both need our support both need to play games and in mcginns case if he has a couple of bad games does that mean he will also be in for McLean and lappin type abuse? Cause that helps no one player or club.

Relegation would be terrible for the club. The first division is a hard division to get out of. I don't want to watch another 10 years of going to central park,palmerston,Starks park to name a few. Crowds would fall the squad would be dismantled for peanuts. People would loose their jobs players and staff through out the club. The money from tv would be dramatically cut. Hamilton falkirk dunfermline Livingstone have all struggled after relegation why would we be any different?. Patick have just come up how long were they down for? What did there crowds fall too?. I agree the 1st division champ wins were up there with the cup in my opinion!. But the hurt of relegation is far to great to go 5-10 years till it happens again.

Thompson Goodwin and van zanten don't want to play for Lennon!. What about us the fans! Play for us then its not just him they are letting down it us!. I also think players brought to the club recently have let manager and fans down. Grainger for starters a needless red card on Saturday too many over hit free kicks and corners and underhit pass backs. Harkins shows so many good touches can make passes. problem is He is not a midfielder or a striker So what is he!?.

I think alot of senior players have let the manager the fans and st.mirren football club down. I think they need to take some of the blame for our current predicament. Goodwin never a CB but has been a liability all season. Van zanten a red card a few yellows and not had a good game yet even when the man who gave him his chance to play top flight football again is fighting for his job and he's playing s-ite ?. Thompson played up front no one to support him all TRUE. But also a life long fan who can help us on the pitch and he's done nothing all season. Lennon can't survive now but i still feel angry these players have let Danny and us down.

I never wanted to post this thread I wanted Danny to be a success for years to come but its not working out anymore and I think he will no longer be manager of st.mirren on Monday. This is a forum to share opinions with other supporters and would like to know who they think the manager of st.mirren should be.

Danny thanks for all you have done for this club. But its just not working now and can't risk going down to the championship. So who next?. Thompson Houston Calderwood Sheilds Hartley Murray That's the only names I can come up with and don't want any of them?.

I would agree with benching Thompson he has not been good this season. If I am really honest I think he has looked lazy so far. On Saturday he should have been on the end of crosses and he was no where to be seen. The only problem is we have no one else to replace him with and bankonen doesn't instill conference in me Reilly is still young. can we still sign out of contract players and are there any available?.

Goodwin is not a CB he plays cm in front of defence I think Newton is better in that position. Goodwin still a good player for coming on to close out games. Thompson needs to get into better positions. I thought there were to many crosses into the box that he should have been on the end of.

Just back from the game. I thought Goodwin is a liability as CB thought magregor and cheesy were ok. As much as I like thopmson I thought he was poor today again. Bankonen really not sure. He is a bit of a headless chicken and saints players dint really want to pass to him even when he was in a good position. Caprice looked fast I would start him next game. Thought McGowan did well.

I am not a mair fan but I would play him against motherwell. He is a CB Goodwin is not. Mair and mcausland as the cb's and caprice at rb in place of van zanten. Goodwin should start cm just in front of the defence. Magregor can replace either mair or cheesy. Newton can come on for Goodwin if as people say his kegs have gone.

None of these players look anything like the players they were last season. Goodwin never a CB has looked poor. Van zanten has been shocking a red card and 2 yellows and another player who's all round game has looked poor. Thompson looks ordinary don't know if its cause he's isolated up front or he needs time to adjust to Harkins and bankonen. All 3 of these players should take a look at teal who is always looking for the ball pushing the team forward and has been our best player so far this season.

I hope we can take something from motherwell in our next match and we have to win at hearts. If that happens our season starts Danny keeps his job. If not then thanks for all your good work Danny winning the cup talking up the club the supporters the town for playing good football but its not working now and its time to go. Think the board would go for the cheap option and appoint Steven Thompson as manager?. Don't no if its right option? love thomohawk think he's looked average this season though.

There is no evidence that anyone on the board has said anything just a load of rumours spouted on this forum. Gilmour said today Lennon is our manager. I like Danny he has done a great job here and talked up our club won us the cup played some good football along the way. I still think if we loose to motherwell and hearts he has to go.

I think too many people were expecting an concalves type of debut. Not fair on the boy really needs some game time before any one can judge him. Thompson needs time to get to know him and how to play along side him. The 2 week break should help in that respect.

Walter smith who walked out on Scotland who's football was the most boring to watch. The rangers legend who left every they needed him. He spent millions at rangers to win things went to Everton where he had no money and almost got them relegated and then left them. These are all reasons I would hate him being our next manager. But the biggest reason is he is a *** through and through

I herd a rumour 2days ago Danny Lennon had lost the dressing room. I am not a Danny basher far from it and was hoping it was not true. After tonight I think its time for Danny to go. I think he has lost the dressing room. The only problem is there is only a week left of the transfer window so the only way to sack him is if someone at the club takes over and even then 7days to find 2strikers sign them and CB. I would also sack Paul mathers for recommending Cornell. I dont want calderwood,Sheilds, as manager. Who does that leave?.

Cambell going to carslile is not dannys fault. Cambell went to them because he dint have to move as its a hours drive away and could be recalled from loan at any point. In the papers Danny has said he has other options yet people slaughter him before they even no who they are.
