I think summer football would be great for Scottish football! There's no decent Football on over the summer on sky and you would not have to go up against the English premiership! Think about it just now who would you watch Inverness v Celtic or Man U v Chelsea?? The weather is good schools are off and parents struggle to keep kids entertained kids take them to the football! We would kick our European campaign's half way through the season when we are up and running! I think it could save our game and fill the void of lack of football on TV over the summer meaning more TV revenues for Scottish Clubs! Probably sell more football tops! Scottish football is dying so time to try something new! I can't see any reason it would not work World cups would prove difficult if we get to one as would be European championships! But considering France 98 was our last appearance I hope it would help us not have to wait 18 years to qualify for another major tournament! From a national point of veiw its a good thing as well the English based players will see no change the Scottish based players will be fully fit for the start of the qualifiers! We play football at the wrong time just now we always have! We give players the best possible pitches we can. Motherwell excluded from that statement! Why not give them the best weather Scotland can muster!! Pubs can have football all year round and St.Mirren would have there New Kit out before I go on holiday for a change! It's a no brainer for me YES to summer football!!

Carey annoyed me at times in his second spell with us seen him score some great goals but felt he never progressed! Didn't see any improvement when he was at County and he spent alot of time on the bench at both club's! Having said all that I think he could do a turn in the first division! I don't think Carey will move to another Premier team! So yes give him an offer of a reasonable 1 year contract if he says No move on! Clarkson was at Motherwell at start of the season and they didn't want him! I thought he did well at Dundee was playing well and scoring goals and then just disappeared and spent large periods on the Bench! St.Mirren could offer him regular games! Better getting noticed in the first division than forgotten in the premier on the bench! Also he would be in his preffered location of Central Scotland! I think St.Mirren could get both!

If Thommo wants a deal and is prepared to take a first division strikers wages then sign him! Why does Thompson need to be a coach this season? Let him enjoy his last season as a player then go into the coaching side of football! Or what about the Mixu type roll of player/youth coach? Our youth set up doesn't work we make no money out it and we have just been relegated! Teale and Longwell should go IMO!

I would take Wee Nigel back in a heartbeat I agree he is a twat! I agree he has an attitude problem by all account's! But he is good to watch and can score a few goals. draw fouls in good positions.. He was both my sons favourite player so both would want to watch St.Mirren again! If we could not afford him last season then there's no chance we could this season!

I love Thomo but can we afford him in the championship? I think he could do a job but I fear with the club in the first division Thompsons wages even at half and considering his age it might be to much of a gamble?

Did not mind Ozzy but Calum Ball was total wage theif! He was with us a year and still wasn't fit!

I wish Marc alĺ the best has had a honking season as have most of the team!! But over his St.Mirren career gave it his best and didn't deserve the majority of abuse he got because of who his dad was!!! All the best Cheesy

Arqiun is a crap wee diving twat not a goal scorer with a dodgy disciplinary record! Who was freed by Ross County Thomo is a former premier league player in England who has been capped by Scotland is a massive Saints fan has been our top scorer for past few seasons! I know Thomo has had an indjury plauged season I know he is in the twilight of his career at 36 but still feel he gives us more than Arquin and for me should start!!

Sonoupe meh Genev looks a find but only on 6 month contract so will not be at us next season! Another gripe of mine is not signing De.Vita after having him on trial! Garry has got slightly better performances out of the young guns than Craig did but again not saying much!! Craig and Teale have not got the performances out McGinn Naismith and Kelly that Danny Lennon achieved! So for me to be the St.Mirren's next manager you have to go for a manager with more potential or a better record than Danny Lennon! (That's not Garry Teale)

If we are relegated or if we stay up we need rid of the board! I recognize what they have done in saving our club but for the last 2 years they have made terrible decisions!! 1 Not renewing Danny Lennon's contract! 2 Appoiting Tommy Craig as manager on a 2 year contract! 3 Selling our best player to another spl team 6 hours before transfer window shuts! 4 Not interviewing for the Managers job AGAIN! 5 Appointing Garry Teale! 6 Taking to long to appoint a manager! 7 COST CUTTING even when in trouble! 8 The way they handled the Bid process! 9 The lack of communication with there customers (ie me and you the fans!) 10 The Strips!! These 10 bad decisions are the reason we find our self in this position! I wish we had taken the English Bid more seriously! As for the Argy bid smoke screen to justify cost cutting! Take the past out it and the only conclusion I can come up with is...This board will not bring us back up if relegated!.

No point of sacking Teale give him till the end of the season! IF we stay up I don't want Garry as manager. IF we go down I don't wanr Garry as manager! I have nothing against Garry Teale I just think St.Mirren need to take a new approach to how they run our club! Garrys signings have not been the best and he can't get the level of performance that Danny Lennon got out Naismith Kelly and McGinn! But why sack him now? Who would want the job? Much prefer to get rid of the board before end of the season. here's the question though do you think Garry is better than Danny? I think Danny was better! And that's the reason I don't want Garry as long term manager....

I don't go to the football and swear for 90 minutes. I do however swear when say Willie Collum sends off a St.Mirren player or St.Mirren miss an easy chance!! Thats what I mean by swearing is part of football!

Got to admit I do swear on occasion so did my Dad so did my Grampa it's part of going to the football. But lets be honest at Ibrox and Parkhead they sing about the UVF and the IRA!! I heard Eddie Jordan also wants to get Paisley on F1 calander with a Street circuit around the oneway system! Says its not a Shit hole and should be up there with Abu Dahbi,Monaco,Barcelona! Personally told me it was the facilities that made his mind up the new score board with the infniti add did it for him! I have been to see the Clan a few times now and I enjoy it! I been with the wife had a great night been with my mates had a few beers watched some ice hockey saw some GOALS! I don't enjoy Ice Hockey as much as football but didn't feel like it was a waste of money!

I thought Gus and Andy Millen did well at St.Mirren and when they left I thought it was a mistake. Then Danny Lennon came along thought it was a cheap crap appointment! The football got better our league positions stayed roughly the same and we won the League cup. Danny Lennon's football was better he gave youth more of a chance! He also talked up the club the board the fans. And is a very nice man and is a St.Mirren cup winning Legend!! Now for Gus lost a cup final to 9 man Ranagers. His football was not the best! Won us promotion to the Premier and kept us there. All he said about the St.Mirren fans was they expect to much! Was grumpy and arrogant and didn't really give youth a chance! Would I take Gus back as manager? Probably Yes! Because the position we are in.. Do I want Gus back No! Did I want Danny to get the sack No! Did I want Tommy Craig as manager No! Did I want Garry Teale as manager No! I would have Lennon back in a heart beat he is one of the Best managers I have seen at St.Mirren. Gus was just a little bit better than Tom Hendrie iMOP But it doesn't matter who you and me want as manager the board will do what they want anyway!

I think Kelly needs some time on the bench! With any young player you get inconsistent periods during a season given the fact that Kelly has had to work under 3 manager's in a year in a half! I think it's easy to see why Kelly and Naismiths form has not been as good! Tess is our best option at Left back so play him there! We have options in Midfield now so lets see what they have got! I don't really rate Kelly at left mid if im honest and as much as I don't like saying this in the position we are in I don't think we can give him a break and keep him in the starting line up!

Sorry it was loans! But if they had sold for 1.5 million they still get there money back with a small profit! So what makes the South Americans bid better for the club?

Stuart Gilmour to the press is where I get my info mate said it in the papers. With the Tesco deal we used it to pay for the New ground training complex and board members got there money back.

From what I have read the a English consortium plans for the club looked good! Don't know how good David Thompson as manager would have been but putting a Hotel and Airport parking seems good business sense to me. if the St.Mirren board new this cosultant had a fraud conviction why did they not ask him not to be involved in the deal? Don't think the board are playing fair with the fans! Question's fans deaerve answers too? Whats going on with the Argentine consortium? What plans do the Aregintine have for St.Mirren? How much did the English consortium offer to buy the club for? How much are the Argies offering? The board did save the club but also to a man got there money back with the Tesco deal! So are the board that saved the club now looking to make money out the sale of the club! If so fair enough but if that means selling to the South Americans for more money when the English consortium deal was better for the club is that acting in the best intrest of the club?

I actually think he would be a good addition to the squad versatile experienced and has a good knowledge of the league so why not? So what if he was going to sign for us before and didn't because another club offered him more money! I think he can fill Kennys role and help Mallan develope as a player so it makes sense to me! We still need a defender but Kenny was on a very good wage at Saints so should be enough to sign both Gow and a defender! My only question would be is the defender on trial good enough?

Thompson's not finished but it's probably his last season as a regular starter! So would agree we need a new forward. Arquin might show promise but his conduct means you can't rely on him! Ball should be a good player comes from Derby a good championship club in England. But never looks fit always seems 2 yards behind everyone else. But what really annoys me is he still seems a bit on the heavy side for a footballer! This far into the season I would expect more both in performance and fitness! Currier is wanted by clubs in China and clubs in England acording to the papers. And that means he's out our wage structure so never going to happen! As for another striker coming in that probably won't happen either! We have needed a Central defender for 5/6 years now.. still don't have one! The board don't do forward thinking! The board don't spend money on decent wages even though they sell our best player for peanuts to a rival with 10 hours to go in the transfer window who was reported to be one of our highest earners! No signing a striker goes against the Board policy of penny pinichinh! So never going to happen. Rant over
