Don't see the point in selling Mclean for 250k this window even IF the Argentine's do buy the club! If he continues to show the form he has we could make more than that in the next transfer window! As for a team of south American's coming to the club before window slams shut doubtful! If a player comes from outside europe they need a EU work visa and that can take 14 working day's to issue! I thought John Mcginn had a bad game groaned a few times when he gave passes away but did not really hear any abuse to him a few for f-cks sakes and come on John type stuff. Yes St.Mirren fans have a history of giving young player's a hard time. Simon Lappin got a hard time as did McLean at points. Mallan and McClear got great support from the fans yesterday. McGinn has been in the team a few years now and fan's have seen him play good most of that time. So when he plays bad it gets to them a bit. I did shout John your better than that! Is that abuse? Got shouted at by another fan he's trying his best! That same fan spent the game shouting abuse at Cheesy far worse than John you can do better!!

Take him in a heart beat just can't see it happening! Why would he want the job? I know he has a house round the corner from our training ground! My main concern is if any deal with the Argentina consortium takes more time it digs into January transfer window! If they have players identified and they are not European they need a European work visa that can take upto 14 days till the player can register to play in our position can we wait? What if the bid falls through where does that leave us? Enough time to get players in time? Enough money to get player's in? The BOD made a huge mistake in appointing Tommy Craig as manager cost the club money cost them money might cost us our top flight status leaving us back in the first division in financial uncertainty!!! They didn't listen to us about new managers they gave Tommy Craig a 2 year contract! Why did they not just extend Danny Lennons by 12 months if they wanted to sell the club it would have been cheaper? Now they can't even give us a clue about what's happening regaurding the sale leaving the fans in the Dark again.. The Board have not done a good job since the cup and taken loyal fans for granted on the back of it! I will always appreciated what they did to save us but if they don't act quick and sell the club then were destined for first division and financial uncertainty!!! The same place they saved us from!! but we do have a new ground and training facilities!

Wee pay for the club I purchase 3 season tickets every year I go to all St.Mirren games home and away buy 3 St.Mirren strips every year give them £250 Donation every year at there end of season dinner which I also pay to attend... So when fans put there money into a club they deserve answers! It's the boards responsibility to inform us of what's happening and what the Argentina consortium have planned for the club untill the deal is done! So why have they not done this? Why the hold up? I am not a Board hater far from it! I remeber the dark days. My Dad and Grampa also gave money to the club to stop Reg Bealy getting his hands on St.Mirren but the present board saved us and I am thankful to them! From a football point I would sign Ched Evans if he was not in this position we would never be able to afford him! We need a striker who can put the ball in the net! If is conviction is over turned would command a decent transfer fee! But when talking to the wife about it she said she would not let me take my 2 boys to the game if he was a St.Mirren player! I have read a bit about the case and have come to this conclusion Whether guilty or innocent what he did that night makes him a very unsavoury character in my books! Still on the fence if I would sign him?

I would sign Ched Evans makes sense striker we could not afford who would run amok in Scottish Premiership when fit (never ever going to happen by the way).. Yes he might get granted an apeal and win but he is a pretty unsavory character by his actions on that night.. but from a football sense yes.. My wife would be one of the first woman down at Greenhill Road to rip his ball's off! Her opinion is no club can ever have him on there books he should never have any future in the game and she would not let me take my sons to saints games if he was a player!! Can no one do anything about Willie Collum?? Never have I seen a worse ref consistently bad for years.. Its not just St.Mirren that suffer from the Willie Collum show its all teams. you can't say what you feel about him his decisions or his standard of refereeing if you are a player you end up with a fine and a ban! If you are a manager you end up with a fine! Even if the club put out a statement to there fans about his performance they get a fine! What punishment does Collum get for his bad day's at work? None!!! I just find it hard theres nothing anyone can do?

I just find it baffling that he's allowed to get away with what he does! When the announcer at St.Mirren park read out the referee there were groans around the stadium! On sky Charlie Nicholas said take him out the equation as a referee said his performance as a referee was bad in the Motherwell Aberdeen game but nothing compared to the St.Mirren Kilmarnock game. How can teams not just St.Mirren protect themselves from the Willie Collum show?? Can teams ask the SFA for the referees report? It seems that Scottish referee's can do what they want and get away with it and clubs manager's and player's can't even talk about anything in case of punishment even if there in the right!!
