    Welcome Adam Hammill

One of the greatest signings in the last 15-20 years in my opinion.

I think we must be looking closer to 10 out the door. I couldn't pick 10 myself that look obvious, maybe half of that, though if OK wants to trim his squad to 21/22, he will have to get rid of that many if he wants to bring in his own players and be left with a squad of 21/22.

Possibiility he grew frustrated at lack of game time last season as much as him being released. It doesn't seem to have worked out for him in Dingwall either this season. First season, i'd have said a few clubs would have been sniffing around him last summer, though his lack of game time last season never put him in the shop window. I'm not sure if he is the right standard for this level. As much as i liked him, his performance against premier opposition in Aberdeen in the cup was a horror show.

    Brothers

Brian 'Bubbles' Hetherston. Brother Peter played for Raith
  5. Not sure, though Jack had requested additional coaching staff going into this season before he left. Whether Gus' role was thought of back then too or was created off the back of Stubbs' disaster period i am unsure, though it would probably make more sense it was due to the latter with his transfer dealings.
  6. The only additional role created here is Gus' , which will become valuable over time in how the club now operate with any incoming players. Nicholl is effectively filling Darren Jacksons role.

    Welcome Adam Hammill

If i remember correctly, AH said that he wanted to push himself to earn a longer deal through performances, hence the short term. I am not sure if he was offered till end of season originally on that basis.

    Welcome Adam Hammill

I'd push the boat out to get him till at least the end of the season. He was a magnificent player playing at a very good level down south. I see him as a bit of a coup for us. If he's enjoying his time with us and not using us as a shop window, lets trying and get him a little longer. Could turn out to be our Lewis Morgan this year.
  9. I know this is your dream Shull, though that's all it will be i'm afraid. Under part-time football, the product on the park would be lesser , the drop in admission price wouldn't make a difference to increasing the crowds attendance if the product is not on the park. You only need to look at attendances we have had against the smaller clubs and colt teams in cup competition. Stadium sponsorship - whos going to invest in a tinpot part-time league? Hospitality - whos going to invest in a tinpot part-time league? Kit Sponsorship - whos going to invest in a tinpot part-time league? Advertising on many things, inside and outside the Stadium. - whos going to invest in a tinpot part-time league? TV Money - There would be no TV money, BBC ALBA at best. I am in agreement that the league is looking a lot more competitive this season and that is down to more investment and better quality arriving up here.

    Samson to Sunderland

I think they would also need to wait till January if he was registered as player due to transfer windows. Sign him as a gk coach, January come out of retirement and act as 3rd/4th choice backup.

    Samson to Sunderland

I'd imagine some compensation will be involved, after all he is still contracted for the next couple of seasons with us.
  12. There is also a Scottish Labour advertising board, but i bet they never noticed that.

    I believe Anton

I know games aren't won on a piece of paper, though the options we have upfront now are fairly strong and with a bit of confidence installed, i believe we can start creating chances for these guys to put away.

And Cammy Smith to add to that healthier front line even though we are struggling to find the back of the net,

John McGinn, Mallan , Maclean and McAllister have all stepped up and played in our midfield from a young age, I can't see why Erhahon couldn't do the same. I never seen the game on Saturday due to family commitments, though from what i hear Erhahon played great and i would imagine if it was from a defensive perspective, he could bring those battling qualities in to midfield if needed.

Certainly a long road ahead, with plenty of time to gather momentum and keep the teams around us close.

Here's hoping we get the result we are looking for on Saturday which could be the shot in the arm we desperately need. certainly positives to take from Saturday's performance.

Livingston's answer is stability. They never dismantled a promotion winning squad and instead added to areas that needed strengthened. They have stuck to their system of making themselves hard to beat. Hamilton I agree have been punching for some time now, though again, not any major changes, though I am not sure if they have the quality to pull away from the relegation zone this season. The morale impact post Dundee this Saturday will either kick start our season and give the players much needed belief IF we win.

    Stephen McGinn

Agree. We seen the impact he made when he arrived last January for the remainder of the season. Similar circumstances with a fully fit captain in the run in would be more beneficial. He is clearly struggling.

    Alfie Jones

Kpekawa fetched a transfer fee of £500k only a couple of years ago. Still a lot of money to pay down south, with potential obviously seen. Possibly just needs the right gaffer and coaches to get him in the right shape. Heaton was been monitored by English championship teams prior to coming to us and I am sure Heaton said there was genuine interest though he jumped at the chance to come up here to get first team football. Get these two guys match fit and it could actually work out that they give us really good options at the back.

    Alfie Jones

I think Heaton has to be kept on and developed considering we have invested so much in him. If he is not ready to compete for first team, we need to loan him out to a decent level. I am unsure the status of the other three, whether they are unfit, injured or just not deemed good enough. Kpekawa certainly looked okay when he first arrived though fell away and looked unfit. Cooke hasn't had a sniff and King barely had time to show if he has what it takes.
  22. OK mentioned his wife has a really good job and the school term hasn't long started so i would imagine they would want to get the kids settled in their school and potentially think about it next summer at the earliest.

    Alfie Jones

Unless he is injured, he is not making the bench. this to me signals he has no future so i wouldn't be surprised if he is next to leave.
  24. Happy to read today that we have tied down another one of our stars of the future Ethan on a long-term contract. https://www.stmirren.com/news/club/all-news/2093-delight-for-saints-as-ethan-erhahon-agrees-new-deal
