Hibs were sitting mid table this time last year then they began to freefall. Anything is possible in a season for a turnaround. If you look at Motherwell and Dundees form it isnt much better than ours. We DO still have time to turn this around with the right personell in place.

The boy Robertson that was at Dundee utd, went for a fee of £3m after only one season in the spl. You could argue his call up to the national squad helped raise his value, and likewise for the boy McLeod at the zombies, though surely mclean has value close to at least £1m?

The boy Baird has already played at centre half this season.

Teale has already started making enquiries about bringing players in come january, so that he is prepared to make his moves if he is given the gig full time. Its a tough time for making change as the transfer window only lasts 4 weeks and any new man in place will have to move quick and also assess what is needed.

I remember butcher got next to no time at hibs to assess the squad and try and bring players in through jan. If it is Butcher or anyone else, we need to keep Teale on in a coaching capacity,as he has a good idea of where we are weakest in the team and what needs freshened up.

If James McCarthy and James McCarthur can move to England and play their way into a decent sized club at such a young age then i cant see why John can't follow in their footsteps. A massive talent who is only going to get better. I firmly believe he will go on to win senior caps IF he favours a move down south. Celtic would waste him imo as there is always a pressure to sign bigger name players.

I think whoever is offered the job will only get a contract till end of the season, and/or if we avoid relegation they activate an extension. This might not favour many candidates on the wishlist although i think this is the fairest terms to offer considering the last appointment turned out to be a disaster.

I dont think Thommohawk will be considered for the position as i was sure he would maybe have some coaching involvement when TC left. It would be best to get an outsider, as there are 3 current senior players who may all face a crack at the job permanently.Its not to say that any future manager would have any of the 3 on their coaching staff when appointed.

Youth football will not be ignored with any new owners. If anything i'd hope it would improve our current youth setup as we have very few coming through the ranks. We nwed a shake up in the backroom from top to bottom. We are the largest town in scotland, though its like trying to find a needle in a haystack with our current setup. We need fresh ideas. The facilities are there.

Some of my greatest memories as a Saints supporter travelling to away games come from being a past member on the Cockles Wilson. I joined the bus as a member on my own and after a opening day visit to Inverness, i travelled back with many fellow buddies i now call friends. Couldn't meet a better bunch of guys. As said, huge respect to anyone taking on such a job. You are in safe hands under Burnsy.

I also wondered how we could fund a better budget than we moan about now under fan ownership. I think we would more or less solely go down the route of youth setup only. Nothing wrong with that though we wouldn't be competing in the top league any longer and meeting fans expectations.
