kevo_smfc got a reaction from BuddieinEK in Thierry Small
Any opportunity Small was given this season was out of position.
Going by his game time last season, both St Mirren and Thierry no doubt thought he would get similar, though Tansers form this season has been his best to date and he has rightly kept him out of th team.
If Southampton are trying to sell a left wing back and hes played on the opposite side, and/or very little game time at all, then it makes sense to recall him and find a move that benefits him to play on a weekly basis in his preferred position.

The massive difference with O'Hara over pretty much every other player who has left us over the last few years is that he's got 3 years left on his contract.
That puts us in an incredibly strong position (unless we've agreed a release clause as part of his new contract, and I can't imagine why we would have).
If we got offered £1m for him it would be remarkable business and you'd hope that Robbo would get at least a decent slice of that to reinvest.
I'd be quite excited to see what Foyle and Robbo could find even with 3 or 4 hundred grand in the hipster.

I think if you look at it in comparisons to what Aberdeen received for Ross McCrorie and Lewis Ferguson and the likes of Turnbull to Celtic, O'Hara is as good as any of those players and they have all sold for a minimum of £2m+.

The point of the pyramid system when it was first introduced was to make a pathway for Junior teams to make their way into the professional league, as it should, as well make the bottom of League 2 more meaningful. It has unfortunately been bastardised since its creation.

I would have thought the supporters bar at the ground would have been open prior to the buses leaving.
Sure it been open before when buses have left from there.

I am looking for two spaces on a bus to Easter Rd, if there are any supporters buses with available space?
I know the club are running buses from the stadium, though I'd prefer to leave from town and get a few beers in prior to.
Thanks in advance!

kevo_smfc got a reaction from portmahomack saint in Evan Reid - Missing since 25th March
Hey folks,
I didn't really know where best to place this on the forum, though I think it needs some exposure.
The lad from Irvine that went missing in Paisley on 25th March is still missing. He was last seen around 10.06pm on Love St/Inchinnan Road on doorbell/cctv camera and climbing over a wall attached to the block of flats next to Dingbro, after getting off a train at Paisley Gilmour Street around 9.40pm.
He was heading home to Irvine from Glasgow on the train though unexpectedly came off at Paisley. He text his girlfriend to say that something dodgy was going on (I think when he was on the train at the time). He'd also asked his girlfriend to call the police(unsure if this was on the train or whilst in Paisley). He then pin dropped his location, which was where he was last seen on the doorbell/cctv footage. How he ended up going as far as Love St/Inchinnan Rd and no CCTV picking up his movements is very strange.
The family and friends of Evan have arranged a search tomorrow from 11am and are looking for volunteers to help out.
Saturday 8th April 2023 @ 11am
Meeting at the Robertson street car park at Gleniffer braes (car park in the sky). This is a meeting point, though they are trying to search as much as possible around Paisley after not being able to find anything where his last sighting was.

Andy Dorman for me. Thought wee Steven Thomson (midfielder) was a great player too, though Dorman got you off your seat and always looked a goal threat.

kevo_smfc reacted to Ronnie in Top 6 Battle All Teams Fixtures
Now that our game in hand is out way and 10 from 12 have now played 25 thought I would post the fixtures for the 4 teams looking for the last 3 top 6 spaces.
St Mirren - Home -
Ross County,Celtic,Livingston,Kilmarnock
Away - St Johnstone,D Utd,Rangers & Hearts
Aberdeen - Home - Livingston,Hearts,Kilmarnock & Rangers
Away - Celtic,D Utd,St J & Ross County
Hibs - Home -
Kilmarnock,Rangers, Motherwell & Hearts
Away - Livingston,Celtic, D Utd & St Johnstone
Livingston - Home -
Rangers,Hibs,D Utd,St Johnstone & Ross County
Away - Aberdeen, St Mirren, Motherwell & D Utd.
Going by the fact they have a game in hand, are already top of the 4 team table and also have no games v Celtic or Hearts in this run I would say Livingston can only really throw away a top 6 place.
That leaves St Mirren,Hibs and Aberdeen for 2 places.
Looking at our away fixtures and our form away I can see a maximum of 4 points and that's being extra kind our home matches however we really need 8+ points to have any chance of top 6.
It's impossible to predict Hibs and Aberdeen results both have Rangers, Celtic and Hearts same as us so realistically they only really have 5 games for maximum points.
Last matches pre-split
St Mirren v Kilmarnock
St Johnstone v Hibs
Aberdeen v Rangers
Dundee Utd v Livingston.
Aberdeen v Rangers will be live on Sky Sports and I'm hoping it is Saturday lunchtime so we know by 3 o'clock what we need v Kilmarnock to get top 6.

Someone confirming on Twitter they know one of the academy boys' mum and he has sent messages to all of the academy boys wishing them well for the future assuming he has already signed on that basis.
Could be fabricated, though sounds legit.
