kevo_smfc reacted to Drew in Gary Teale Leaves By Mutual Consent.
The correct decision. I wish Gary all the very best in his future career. I won't forget the interview with him after the cup semi win against Celtic. He was crying, such was the emotion, and that, and the final victory will be his legacy, not his final months at the club.

No real surprise, thanks for the memories GT please don't come back with a new club to 'tear us apart... Again'

All the best to the cup winning legend. Was always going to be leaving after he never got the job.

Renewed my season ticket yesterday. Took me a while to consider it after last seasons car crash, though I am looking at the positives of a new chapter for St Mirren and a new challenge with a new manager at the helm.

I'd imagine they will wait till after the player of the year awards tonight, so most likely next Monday we will hear of Teale's future and the out of contract players.

Murray gave a huge clue in his first interview in that he likes to play using wide men getting dangerous crosses into the box. For me that seems to be sort of foil a striker like Thompson would thrive on.

Depends upon the brain, lovestreets brain is different from the normal brain.

kevo_smfc reacted to class of 76-77 in St. Mirren Looking For A New Manager
Here's a wee thought for the trolls and serial moaning cunts, if you don't like the choice of management or anything else about the club then fair enough it's every individuals choice and their opinion. But stop constantly repeating the same old tired drivel on here with every post, if you dislike the club so much then f**k off and take your sad existence somewhere else and let the decent buddies enjoy some proper debate.

This forum is an asylum. We have a new manager who begins on Monday. A new regime. We cannot predict the future. Stand by him or dont support the club.

Is that the same Chick Young who said on Thursday night we wouldn't be appointing a manager who is at another club as that would require compensation?

kevo_smfc got a reaction from northstbuddie in Home & Away Kits
That's a bit of a harsh response to a man who has only done his very best to his ability, which unfortunately hasn't worked out.
Short memory of a player who once donned the stripes and was a major part of one of the clubs successful landmarks (17.03.13).
As i said, it hasn't worked out on the managerial side, though you can't blame him wanting to put himself forward to stay on, as its very doubtful he will return to playing full-time.

kevo_smfc reacted to scrappy coco in David Longwell
Can't believe some folk are still doubting Davie Longwell,
I know for a "FACT" he was offered a top post with the Everton youth academy, but turned
it down to become GT's number 2...
We'll do well to hold on to DL, I guarantee it, he'll go on to much bigger things than head of
youth at St Mirren...
