I want Queens to go up - they deserve it, we struggle there, they will bring two fans and a dug' to our place, and Dumfries is a fair old distance from Paisley, never mind Cumbernauld. If Queens go up, it also means the Sevco haven't. Which brings me to....
The Sevco. I don't want them to go up. Going up aids their chances of survival, of selling 50,000 STs, with associated increases in their revenue across the board, and aids their 'return to their rightful place at the top of Scottish football'. Staying down fcuks them big time, and anything that fcuks that mob up is good news. Cuts will simply have to be made at that midden. From a footballing perspective, they are no more difficult opponents than Queens. From a financial perspective, they are better for us than Queens. I would also like a shot at humping them while they are pish, and making cutbacks.
Hibs. I don't want them to go up. Good travelling support again at our place, a good away venue and a day out in Embra'.
Ross County. Don't want them to come down. See Queens: two men and a dug visiting our place, and a bugger of an away trip.
Motherwell. I want them to come down. Again, decent visiting support, easy away day, existing rivalry rekindled.
In short, for all I ŵorry about dropping down, dropping down to face clubs like Sevco, Hibs, and Motherwell means the air of top flight fixtures around the place, with bigger crowds than we currently get in the real top flight. Throw in good looking fixtures and crowds in games with Morton and Falkirk, and it looks tasty. Sod going to Dingwall and Dumfries. The only big disappointment for me is that those multiple administration basturts Livingston survived.

The Championship next season will comprise: St Mirren Motherwell Hibernian Falkirk Morton Livingston Raith Rovers Queen of the South Dumbarton and Alloa.Mr Gilmour can you now put a decent Management Team in place in order that we can now plan ahead.

I think the club scored a massive own goal when signing off the blueprints of the stadium for the disabled area as it currently is.
There should have been, at the very least been an area erected at the top of the stand. I sit three rows from the front, and when the weather is horrendous, the front rows are an area you would ideally want to avoid, though at the moment this is unfortuantely the own area designated for wheelchair access.
I think its great that something may now be done.

He was in the paper today saying his budget at Newport is larger than his ICT budget was. Newport average about 3200, just shows you where Scottish football is at the moment. Not having a league sponsor certainly doesn't help!!

With a bit of luck at the start of next season there will be no players in the squad who have ever played for us at Greenhill Road either.

Well that was just woeful.
The penalty incident may well have been a tuning point as a goal up v 10 men would have been very different but it's difficult to get upset about that one thing when there is just so much wrong.
One thing I do disagree with a lot of people on is the lack of fight. I didn't see a lack of fight yesterday. I see a bunch of players that, despite a win over Killie, were lacking in confidence which sits squarely on the manager's shoulders IMO.
Without naming names, some clearly aren't good enough for this level no matter how much some people want them to be and to watch the level of talent that Thistle, a team of similar size and financial wherewithal as ourselves, had on show compared to our team was dispiriting.
What is absolutely galling is how the team is set up to play. Long punts up to an unfit striker with little or no support around him just won't get it done. Our set piece play from free kicks, corners and especially throw ins was unbelievable. f**king BB teams are set up better. What the f**k do these guys do in training all week when they are not trying to injure each other?
As I walked out after the 2nd goal I contemplated wishing Motherwell to score to end our misery and then thought, "no, f**k it, let these bastards get relegated in Dingwall next week and have to contemplate unemployment on the four hour bus journey back home".
I hope none of the diehard buds waste anymore of their hard earned cash following this shite next week. There must be something better to do on a Saturday.

It works out as a bit of sound business for the home club(County) to pay for the buses.
If they paid for four at around £600 each = £2400 and got a discount for cash\bulk order (Roy) of say 15% £360 meaning it would cost around £2k.
Lets say 50 full paying adults on each bus = 200 @ £20 = £4k through the turnstiles. £2k to the good, plus any pie sales etc.
