Agree O'Donnell had a good game apart from the error that nearly let Shaw in. Some minor tinkering required for game against croatia. Would put O'Donnell back to right back, drop McGregor again, put in Patterson on the right and put Gilmour more central basically due to the threat of Perisic. Would also prefer to see Nisbet up front with either Adams or Dykes.

Uri Geller is supposed to on scotland's side this time. Hopefully his ball moving ability comes in the last minute of the match, 🤣

Gilmour reminds me very much of modric in his younger years. Will go on to be one of scotland's greats.

My gut told me 2-0 to czechs today and had a header and shot outside the box (although wasn't expecting it so far out, also didn't have the scorer). Going to go out on a limb here and share my predictions for the next 2 games with scorers. England 1 - Scotland 1. Foden with a sliding goal to Marshalls LH post playing against Tierney and McTominay with a header to Pickfords top right hand corner from a corner. Scotland 1 - Croatia 0. Dykes lashes in a strike from 8 yards out after goalkeeper makes a mess of the corner. Also have croatia beating czechs and england beating czechs so we qualify in 2nd place. Fecking hope I am right after today and yes I know it is fecking wrong to reply to your own comment.

I wonder who classed him as a defensive midfielder. He is a tidy enough midfield player but he is not a classic defensive mid. He needs to integrate more in midfield if he is going to progress in the game. I wonder if his agent is struggling to get him a better gig promoting him in this specific position.

Completely agree. Looks as if we will be going with a 3-5-2. If we are going to get anywhere in this tourney we need to be moving the ball quick and accurately with a fair bit of energy. I don't think Clarke will have the balls to go with it from the offset and end up trying to change the game too late. Hanley right of defence, Gallagher central with Tierney to the left. The midfield will be massively important in trying to get some control in games. Patterson, Gilmour, Mcginn, Mctominay, and Robertson, with Gilmour and Mctominay holding a bit more would add a different dimension to the team. I would go would dykes and nisbet upfront simply due to their movement. If he doesn't grab the bull by the baws from the offset then can't see us progressing.

My money is on hibs. All £1.37 of it.
