Just to let you know I have halved the buy it now price as there is not a mystery connection to the medal now, offers will be considered around £400 as it is still a good medal because of James Walls' connection to both clubs. HI, I believe that the medal was indeed presented to James 'Fister' Walls as you say, however it was as a winner he gained it. At the time he was a St Mirren player having joined from Bathgate in 1916. The match in question was between Saints and Abercorn and Saints won 3-0 with James Logan netting all three goals. Unfortunately I do not have dates or any further info about the match. Walls left Saints for Ibrox at the end of that season That is a great piece of memorabilia. Would you have any objection to me using the images on the website in the Charity cup section. I hope this helps your search. David.
