I thought it would have made sense to you of all people!
Is it not you who has been telling us relentlessly how sh*te we have been all season?

Trust me  - you are the lucky one.
Shovelling a 'mountain of manure' sounds much better fun than watching this game.

You are spot on but we will go into the summer knowing who is leaving and have a chance to bring in more players. Overall JG and the Team have done pretty well in the transfer market and as we move up the attraction is better for better players to come in hopefully.

A wins a win, but performances are dire, which kinda worries me.
    But, hey ho.

We could concede that we just 'suffered' another fluky victory.
However, the players' effort could not be criticised.
We were second best for practically the whole of the second half.

To my eyes we tried four strikers today and Lee Erwin performed best!

Note that of the 8 teams listed, we are the only team without a win in the past 5 games, apart from Kilmarnock who are on a downer.

That was a junior/amateur level display tonight - we were miles behind Motherwell in our performance. Could not control the ball - every loose ball was looped up into the air in blind hope. We could not string three passes together and were fortunate to come out of that with a point. Our striking options are so limited as things stand at the moment. No wonder Elvis has ended up as he is.

Without our 5 injured players we are bottom six material although team spirit and good fortune could change that scenario.

Our defenders, overall, have done very well as a team, conceding only 33 from 28 games.
Only 4 teams have bettered this and, while we can always improve, I don't think picking out ant defender is worthwhile at this stage of the season.

Looks like it could be 4-4-2 tonight.
Let's hope we don't miss McGrath, Doyle Hayes, Brophy, Quaner and Dennis too much.

The Kilmarnock game last week was a good test of our credentials after the prior midweek loss to Hibs.

To get top 6, you simply need to win your games against the teams in the bottom half.

All too often in the past we’ve dropped points to teams who were out of form and desperate for a win.

We took care of Killie with ease, which was very welcome! The next test is Hamilton who are not playing as badly - but the type of games we simply must win to aspire to top 6.

Not too worried about the injuries. We have a squad and players who can do well. Very much looking forward to the Hamilton game and the games that follow. 1 game at a time as they say!

With the injuries we have suffered in the last couple of weeks or so, I am afraid the remainder of this season will be all about damage limitation.
Based on the remnant of the squad available we are unlikely to finish in the top six but on the other hand, should have no fear of getting caught up in a relegation battle.
The only glimmer of hope is, as hoped for by Munoz above, that the most recent injuries are not as bad as they look at the moment, and that the likes of Quaner and some of the younger players can step up to the plate in this time of need.
Unfortunately we can only now dream of what might have been - but what is indisputable is that there has been a huge improvement this season under JG and we, the supporters, will have to be patient with what are likely to be a few disappointing results over the coming weeks including possibly the game against Hamilton.

Not so much pessimistic rather realistic.
I have not given up hope either but can't see where our goals are going to come from if we will be without three strikers.
Also, if we lose McGrath and Doyle Hayes for any length of time, our ability to compete in the middle of the park will be diminished.

More likely you are the one that is inebriated.
You obviously know nothing about football going by this and other consistently abysmal posts.
Ethan is only 19 and although he is not the final article at present he shows great potential. He possibly lacks the sharpness and decisiveness in the tackle of Doyle Hayes and McGrath. But the boy has real class.
I will never understand posters like you who seem to take great pleasure in slagging off our (specially younger) players.
    Grow up sonny.

Excellent player, and certainly one for the future.
Kicked on more than Cammy this season, which has been a pleasant surprise.

Really glad he extended his contract.

Ethan has a great future in the game.
