  1. I hope to God its a joke or a prototype that get binned/ripped up to make dusters etc, because its a f**kING DISGRACE(excuse the language) and if the DOB approved something like that, they should be ashamed!
  2. How is using a keyboard with Braille working out for you?
  3. FFS- Shirts sponsored by outfitters to Neds,Junkies and beggers. Dont think I could bring myself to by that- Its bad enough going to a JD sport in the futile search for a Saints shirt in Medium!
  4. Does anyone remember if there was a club called The Kazbar in Paisley? Must have been in 1998/99, after working in Cathcart, I think I came to Paisley- bits i can remember where good, no idea how I got home though and didnt make it into the house though- Passed out in the Garden, hugging my fish supper like a teddy! And Manquins was a bearpit- in there twice and both had massive barnies going on- Still dont think they have torn the building down though. Probably a have for Jakies, junkies and pigeons
  5. Anybody remember the Bus Depot on Gordon Street? Think its got flats on top of where it stood. Also, buses in Paisley seemed so bright when I was a kid, the red & yellow for Clydeside, Black and Orange for Strathclyde, dark red and grey for McGills, orange for Grahams. Its all blue and white and that awful bloody colour scheme that First bus use( robbing b'stards)
  6. Havent had a season ticket since we flitted from Love Street ( I miss that place) and have had the misfortune to be working in Edinburgh for the past few years so havent got to that many games. If the job im in(Glasgow) stays secure, I'll buy a ticket regardless of what division we are, If not i'll get to as many games as I can. I do also understand why some fans may not. For a lot of folk, times are tuff and some need to get value for money, and some folk may see our performances as not being 'good value for money' and have heard some folk saying its paying £20 for 90 mins of pain. Dont think we should be berating folk who make a choice on whether to get a season ticket or not. Im sure we all have a reason for whatever we choose to do
  7. I totally agree, almost every other team has a club shop that sells Shirts, even a good few lower division teams and dont all queue up to stone me, but I also watch and used to play rugby (not professional or anything) but some amateur teams had even a wee room at there humble wee stadiums and sold CLUB SHIRTS. I think the BOD have really shot us in the foot with the deal with JD. And its not without risk- Just remember the Rangers deal with JJB (one of the Uk's biggest sports chains) that fell on its arse and Rangers ended up without all the money due from the deal and nobody to punt their strips for a while
  8. Thanks to all, including the folk who have ripped the piss. May you choke on you Buddies Bridies and your bovril taste like shit (as it does already) lol No more replies please!
  9. A Buddie, living in Rutherglen, most of my mates arent Saints Fans and the few I have I hardly see at the footie now as they are married, Have weans, Have moved away etc. Just looking for a few fellow saints to maybe grab a beer with before, after matches, moan or celebrate results etc Cheers
  10. I hope that was a joke- Wee Riordan is a Roaster, and in bother again for boxing and flouting a banning order for EVERY pub/club in Edinburger. We have enough to deal with without someone like him
  11. Is there any real credibility to this before folk go off on one about how many percent a 'supossed' buyer wants/will get, or has this been ignited by- I hard someone in the pub, I know someone that works, knows somebody who works in St.Mirren park, or the favorite- that bastion of quality printed arsepaper, the Record with their 'reliable sources' (that turn out to be as reliable as First Bus services) Just saying, as we have heard this and been discussing for years and bugger all has happened as far as a sale is concerned
  12. Its a sad day right enough and doubt Provan will be connected with us again- we binned them once and there wee shop in the town centre(which was there for God knows how long) which always had good stock, shut down. If we manage to hang on and stay up- not having a club shop is laughable,if we go down, not having one will mean no additional income(even if very small) to help us try to get back up again. And on top of this, what do we get from the BOD- Their usual- SILENCE
  13. The guy has St.Mirren in his blood and hope we keep him for as long as he wants to stay and is capable of putting in a good shift- which he is still doing and who know what after that. And can the who come on and bitch & argue with each other just GROW UP!!!! FFS its like Rangers and Celtic fans having a go at each other- only worse as its supporters of the same club!
  14. Thoughts? You've had too much of the old monks wine i think? Going down being a good thing? only if its a lady with a cushion for her knees and top of her heid is nice
  15. Try a scud book- they are good, so ive heard, although if your of a God fearing persuation, you may well believe you'll go blind!
  16. With the DOB that we have,DL getting a new contract is not beyond the realms of possibility with them, as would be signing a 1 legged striker if they could get away with it.
  17. And its great that you can only buy our strips(if available) from the outfitter of choice for Neds and smackheids. Have you seen any of the real life uk cop programs.Half the folk getting lifted have the velcro fastening Lascoste sandshoes and the JD sports bag with the string for carrying around their 'items'
  18. i didnt mean death in a literal sense (eg A family member or someone falling of their pertch) but the possible end of our club. And i agree that Booing isnt going to do any good for anyone
  19. If we get relegation- it could very well mean death. Nobody in their right mind would by into St.Mirren (unless there is a saint with very deep pockets and spending money on a shakey business prospect is his thing) and the current BOD are doing a good job of steering us close to the edge for the drop and will have less money to spend in the lower league, Rangers and Hearts will be in there next season, so we would likely to be down there for 2 seasons at least, Sponsors will be tempted to review their situation and maybe take sponsorship elsewhere, so suggesting relagation isnt a real danger for us and our future, is at best really baffling!
  20. Only seem to see SG have a peek from out the door of his bullet-proof bolthole. Think as much as us think Danny should move on, a lot of post seem to not refer to the BOB or SG that much. In my opinion, they arent free from blame regarding the current situation we are in
  21. Ive never been Danny's biggest fan. A lot of folk mention he is a nice guy, which he is,but being nice or not, he is a lost cause now. Seeing him sit in the dugout with his hands in his pockets and a look of disinterest shows that the guy is resigned to either jumping or being given the shove. He's had time to try new (and sometimes bewildering) set up's and formations which havent worked, the team seem to have no connection with him now and his post match and newspaper interviews, are increasing becoming like the pished ramblings of a grandad who's had a spot to much of the good sherry! and the referring to himself in the third person- STOP IT! Another problem, the BOD seem reluctant to fart a nugget, so unlikely they will shove him as they will need to pay him until the end of the season, as per his contract, and if they get someone in, thats another wage they will have to pay, and even if they are prepared to, who can we get that will be able to reverse some of the damage. Im lost on what can be done, and its hurting to watch us getting humped on a regular basis. Think it's time we hear from the board and see what they have to say, but seems we hear he-haw unless it suits them. Sorry guys, rant over
