  1. Apart from that a good post from GS and a hell of a lot more than we got from the previous BOD who barely farted a morsel of information
  2. With regards to security, the club shouldn't highlight deficiencies, due to the current situation, would be better to mention it is being improved or the likes.
  3. Or its that type of material that can be wiped down, to remove those stubborn stains left by those who enjoy there football a bit too much?
  4. It was a wuman. She said she and her daughter sponsor Samson's jersey. She seemed to be ok with the answer that AS gave
  5. Stitch a couple of dish towels together and you have an away top- minus the sky view sticker
  6. I honestly miss all of the guys on here, the banter, the discussions, sometimes the bickering has me wondering whether to be ammused or concerned. Don't get on often due to work and family commitments but when I do I enjoy seeing what everyone says. I don't dislike anyone on here, because like it or not we all have one thing in common- We all follow our team
  7. I agree. The ground is good, has useful facilities but I don't feel any real emotional attachment to it as I did with Love Street. Love Street was old and a bit decrepit to be honest, but during the final game, was genuinely upset- which I admit is probably a bit daft but it was sad leaving the place that held so many memories for myself, and I'm sure for lots of other supporters old enough to remember the place. I like our ground but I loved Love Street.
  8. Will probably get Peter's but my I really liked the Hummel 2009-10 home top with the gold chevrons on the sleeves. Obviously loved the 2013 Home top, and the away was a better (black with red diagonal stripe- Similar to Essendon Bomber Aussie Rules top- but with sleeves)
  9. What a load of shite. There's nothing wrong with encouraging people to clean up after themselves. You're just being contrary for the sake of it. As usual Oaky is just stating what he expects of a man-servant for Casa de Oaksoft. Conformance, compliance, control.
  10. Wouldn't say so (at the moment) We have only played a few games, with mixed results. AS is probably still trying to get a feel for the players, how they play, looking at weaknesses that need to be addressed, and the boys need a bit of time to gel, get to know the gaffer and how he likes the team to play etc. It's unrealistic to be starting on about him loosing the dressing room, predictions of doom at this point in time. Think we should give the gaffer and team a bit of time, let them show what they can do in future competitive games and the league, and leave the squeaky are whole scenarios on the back burner for the time being.
  11. I remember that, an half geezer in the main stand was giving him and the team Peters and JR came into the stand to confront the guy- was standing there wondering if fisticuffs would follow. Think JR confronted the guy as some of the shouting he was doing was a bit OTT. Most of the games, JR acknowledged the fans (even during the dark days of his tenure) and although some folk, who are entitled to their opinion, think acknowledging the support is insignificant, I personally believe that a wee acknowledgement to thank the support for their time and hard earned cash to attend matches, is a small but important gesture and let's the support know that they and their contribution is valued.
  12. It's a bit of a pain as yesterday and today combined, got almost 100 notification emails. Is there a Morton supporters club in China?
  13. Phone went off on one then, couldn't get it to correct and submitted it by accident. That was even without any alcohol being consumed. Other gibberish posts can be considered sent when I'm pished!
  14. Not particularly impressed to be honest, prefer last season's home top. Agree with Div that the away top looks very like something you would wear playing golf- better that last year's tea towel away top but by no means great. Can't see why black and wgitevstripesvis so hard to go, and look good?
  15. Well I did offer, hope I can get to Arbroath soon.
  16. A few of us have had a bit of a falling out on here, and as we are all supporters of the same team, we shouldn't be falling out with each other, and should reserve out loathing to the Morton fans. So I suggest, anyone you have had a beef with, let it go,say hi and maybe even share some opinions on the new season(without getting into an argument) We are St.Mirren supporters and should be uniting to help push our team forward. Excuse any mistakes as still trying to get used to my new phone

  18. So long as it doesn't get personal and your a supporter of our team, we can let this go, maybe even with a little heavy petting?
  19. Next time I'm in Arbroath I will give you a shout. And as for charity boxing matches, I'm all in favour if they are proparly supervised, aren't totally sour in mood and everyone can get on, and the chosen location/cause be a beneficiary. I've been to a few of these events and everyone is a winner. And for the record faraway, I've liked some of your posts too, so I'm offering the olive branch to the 3 forum members this is involving, call it quits, keep things friendly and move on or we keep things as they are or we make arrangements?
  20. Not suggesting a murder, just some friendly fistycuffs, for charity even. Went to an amateur boxing night at rugby park, everybody went to the bar afterwards and became pals. Personally I don't have anything against you but when you start getting personal, I do have issues. Lets agree to disagree or we need to discuss(without Faraways knickers getting wet) where we go from here. Hope it doesn't go that way as I've enjoyed some of your past posts, but I could be wrong as I was with faraway
  21. Faraway, stay faraway, but every so often grace us with your tales from the sin bin, they are, very occassionally amusing
  22. It was 'and their worse' part, didn't get that
