He as we all do sometimes get a bit involved with posts, but so far have you most of his to be valid and with reason, that's all I was saying but some folk on here think it's a good idea to vilify a fellow supporter. Not quoting you Shull, just everyone has a differing idea of tasteful. I've just been informed that the jags logo/mascot was called Kingsley, and looked like it was designed by a kid on a sugar rush with a free reign with yellow crayons for a while. Company logos, crests might not meet with approval but if not outrageous, we can't dismiss them on aesthetic value if the fees they pay for the privilege of sponsoring us is fair.

Shull, I appreciate what your saying about sponsor logo, but if they (potential sponsors) want their logo on, and so long as it isn't offensive, we need to put the sponsors company logo on. The sponsor for the jags for a few years, that wealth management company, was bloody awful- a wee jaggy Sun with a face on it, and kids writing in crayon around it. It looked awful but it generated the jags some valuable income, which will be useful for us

Top 6 would be great, but judging by squad we have, New manager, I think aiming for 8th or better would be good for Stubbs first season. I do hope we have a cracker but trying to be realistic too. Ultimately as long as we stay up I will be pleased. Just hoping we give a good show of ourselves and show we belong in the premiership

I'm sure it will still be better know as 'St Mirren park' whatever the new name will be, a bit like 'The Squinty Bridge' I have never heard anyone refer to it as 'The Clyde Arc Bridge'. The stadium will be referred to as the fans see it, the chosen name by the company and club is merely for media exposure. Although, I wonder If BBC Radio Scotland will still refer to it as 'New St.Mirren park'

Think most fans become really interested with kit design after a particularly good or shite kit. I became interested after our clusterf**k bar code home top, or the relegation kit as some of us know it as. Was waiting, hoping and praying that the next kit was better, thankfully it was, apart from the 'king of chav's sandshoes' shield on the front. We need simple, black and white stripes, of reasonable width, very little or no red, and no Patrick Thistle rehash jobs, sure Joma with help of club/fans, could cobble a good kit together

Not the best name but if the company are paying us a good price for naming rights, its valuable money in the bank for us. Insulting 'some of our support' is very uncool, and In my opinion, a poor show of yourself.

A perceived religious overtone, that strangely seems to be coming mostly from your good self. We should also ban Santa (St Nicholas) Forget Scotland's Patron saint (St Andrew) and ban the big dugs, that help rescue lost climbers with wee barrels of booze or baccy, round their necks (Saint Bernard) The only problems with Saint/ST seem to be rooted in certain parts of communities, that have a few more brain cells missing than most normal, rational people that don't let bigotry get in the way of things, or that get offended by perceived overtones that few others do. Seems to be more of YOUR OWN perception that needs to be addressed. Just my own opinion.
