For those of us who have lived through the horrors of the late 60s and most of the 70s, this present period in our history is actually pretty good. DL has achieved what few others have in out long history, a cup win! I am pretty optimistic about the next few years, as at last the youth system is bearing fruit. I hope Danny Lennon is given more time to see these youngsters progress. When was the last time that SMFC had players that will actually earn us a transfer fee?

Of the SPL clubs today, ourselves, Killie and Partick are the clubs with the least cash and as such, will always struggle to retain their status in the top flight.
