The part time player pool is already smaller for players with an acceptable level of talent. We still wouldn't be able to compete with the larger clubs part time wages. Any player from the youth system with a modicum of talent will be picked up by not only championship teams but the lower league English development squads. That's a second 8th place finish in four years for a club annually tipped for relegation. And of course the national trophy in between. The most successful period in a generation. Unfortunately the gormless mungs are most vocal and it looks like DL will be gone, I'll continue to give my full support to whoever is managing our club. I just hope it's the right choice.

For what it's worth I think he'd do a good job but realistically he wouldn't be interested in coming. Interesting reading that the main reason people want Danny gone was his signing policy, the fact is we don't know if there were loan termination fee's or contract termination fee's. He is of course deserving of a new deal, working with one of the lowest budgets in the league and delivering 3 successful seasons in a row now. Bringing someone new in is a massive risk that will see us relegated
