The 2nd table is SMISA committee members, their guests and other people connected to the club. All are paying out their own pockets to support youth development.

Jack talking him up in the Herald today: http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/15486312.Jack_Ross_praises_in_form_St_Mirren_striker_Gavin_Reilly_as_he_proves_doubters_wrong/

Goody in the Herald today saying he hopes he doesn't play us: “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want St Mirren to pull away and get themselves to safety,” he admitted. “Because of everything that would go with that, that’s not the final we would hope for were we to get there. It would be quite odd going up against them, I would imagine. But whatever will be, will be.” http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/15255932.The_luck_of_the_Irish__Jim_Goodwin_relaxed_as_Alloa__39_s_rivals_sweat_on_play_off_place/

Morton v St Mirren 11/4/17 (Cowshed Re-opening)
BobbyLavatory replied to Ronnie's topic in Matchday & Travel Club
Thinking about that too. Do you still access it via our turnstiles? Same price as behind the goal? -
Sorry to bang on about this but does anyone know if the Dome is open for business today? Been phoning the club all day and it just keeps ringing out.

Is it likely to be back in full operation by tomorrow?
-
Is it back up yet?
-
Any idea how long it will be down for?

How Can We Help the Board?
BobbyLavatory replied to St.Ricky's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
Think you're being very kind to the previous board. With every passing week it's becoming more apparent that their negligence in recent years extended far beyond their failure to adequately upkeep the playing squad. So the new board have been unlucky to have been up against it from the very start. Having said that, I had expected there to have been more of a spark with the onset of community ownership, a greater feeling of unity between board, management, players and fans. Maybe that will come with time but at the moment it feels just as frustrating as before. -
We're realistically staring at third tier football for the first time in our history. I'm not sure "keep the faith" is going to cut it at this stage.

Greenock Morton v St Mirren Championship 1/11/16

Appreciate Ross needs time. But not to get any sort of bounce in 3 games is alarming. -
Most important games in our History?
BobbyLavatory replied to DougJamie's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
Talking of massive games, Shuggy is in the evening times today talking about his goal against Stirling. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/14834872.Shuggy_Murray__I_saved_St_Mirren_from_the_third_tier___hopefully_the_current_team_can_do_the_same/ -
New Official St Mirren Website

From what I heard over the summer it will be the now-departed consortium who will trouser that cash if or when McGinn is sold. -
Link between supporters and club
BobbyLavatory replied to Doakes's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
Early days yet for the new regime but improving comms and PR should be a major part of their remit. When was the last time you opened a paper (apart from PDE) or put on Tv or radio and they were talking about the Buds? Even M*rton have just announced they've appointed a new PR /media guy. It's too much to expect Tony Fitz to do all that on top of his many other tasks. -
Your chairman is quoted in the article!

Just When You Think It's All Over - Rival Bid
BobbyLavatory replied to Langbank's topic in St.Mirren For Sale
Unbelievable. So if this article is true - and I have my doubts - then at the same time as Gilmour is saying he is chuffed the club is staying in local hands he's still trying to flog it to some dodgy Arabs? Bloody hell. If this doesn't help SMISA and Gordon Scott over the line then nothing will. #buythebuds -
So looking at the chairman's comments is that it done? No need for exclusivity payments or having the loan in place?
-
Caught a bit on periscope there. Initial board of 5 would comprise Gordon Scott, Fitzy, Chris Stewart, David someone from SMISA and one other.
-
Think media coverage of the bid apart from the Herald interview with Gordon and a few other bits with PDE and others has been poor. That works both ways - the media should be more open minded to realise there's more to life than the old firm and give coverage to a positive news story. But also SMISA and Gordon need to be a bit more pushy and do the work for the lazy journos, hold press conferences or whatever to make sure the bid gets more attention. If you're trying to get publicity for something you sometimes have to be more proactive. People aren't always going to come to you.
-
So you wanted the Argies in charge of the club? Aye, good one.
-
Saw some but not all of the feed. The SMISA guys all spoke very well. One thing that I may have missed though was chat about the initial loan needed. Did anyone discuss this and whether they are any further forward to securing a lender? And are they planning on using the stadium as security?

New 1877 Members Only Supporters Club
BobbyLavatory replied to div's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
Saw footage of the bar in the Thommo and Goody farewell tributes and it looks good. To save me trawling through 38 pages, what's the script with membership again? Are folk paying a monthly subscription? Can they take guests? Do players go in there after every game? -
Must say I'm surprised at how low-key the build-up to this meeting has been, especially with so much at stake. Not a single post on this page for almost a fortnight, no debate on the rights and wrongs of fan ownership, nothing (that I've seen) in the media talking about it. Bit worried that if this is a sign of the apathy before fan ownership is even discussed what chance does it have of becoming a reality?

Bubbles Gone But Not Forgotten
BobbyLavatory replied to Mr Zo's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
And ran over to hug a ball boy in front of the North Bank. Great times. I seem to recall Princess Diana died later that night although the events may have been unrelated. RIP Bubbles -
St Mirren V Dumbarton Championship 20/2/16
BobbyLavatory replied to shull's topic in Matchday & Travel Club
Random recall: Rae throwing the ball into the linesman's arms when he gave Dumbarton a shy in the first half. Not sure what that was all about.
