I agree with this - every other team finding their feet with regards new players and players who have moved on... Last week was a set back but ultimately we still control our own destiny in the group stages - not our strongest 11 but this hopefully presents an opportunity for squad players to step forward 🤞🤞🤞

Just to add balance 🙅🙅🙅 Main was a bag of shite everywhere he had been until Robbo sorted him out last season So, opinions on Mandron at his last club mean feck all and it's what he does here with the new manager that are relevant

It's ridiculously early to gauge how good or otherwise Mandron is - 1 competitive game 🤦🤦 Is absolutely no barometer... Sounds similar hysterical claptrap to those who called for the managers head after a couple of games last season as they lamented the loss of the managerial great who went to Aberdeen We all know how that panned out 🤔🤔 As for the rest of your list - most are not going to feature in our starting 11 and I don't think Robbo was implying that they would 🤷🤷 I have faith in the Gaffer, not blind faith but I believe in his ability to spot something - you never get 100% hit rate , but so far he is definitely in credit

Pre season games have their uses and I would think Robbo will have taken a lot from today - wouldn't imagine the strikers who started will be in our starting 11, but I it was useful to see how they performed ... The 2 new lads are only just in the door and cannot be judged yet - they are however our expected source of goals / assists etc Keeper issue needs resolving - unless Carson has refused to play he should be starting .. Keanu missing etc So, what was on the team sheet today should be a shadow of what starts our SPL campaign

Probably a mute point now - the arrival of Mikael should end all interest in keeping Curtis as he is effectively his replacement

Tend to agree with this - with the money invested in Conor , you would think that final "killer pass" will improve ( something we desperately missed last season ) Tend to think Mikael will have a bit more creativity to feed from this season

Get a bloody grip Week and a half till the league cup starts and OVER a month till the start of the SPL season hardly qualifies as " leaving things really late " 🤦🤦🤦 Brophy , Jay and Watt ( as it transpired) are absolutely zero loss ... At best they filled a jersey but they didn't feature and did nothing to enhance the first team.. Carson ( who is still there ) would be a loss but the manger has already acted quickly to get another well thought of keeper on board .. Main led the line well but we have brought in another striker ( not in anyway saying they are like for like ) and Robbo has intimated he has interest in several players ... Should Carson go we will get a further fee which will help drive recruitment .. Hardly the dire state of affairs you are attempting to pedal

He wasn't demonstrating anywhere near enough to be a regular starter and was at best a squad player for us ... He was offered a contract by the club - however he elected to move ( as is his prerogative) and play for a team which isn't as good as the one he left and therefore giving himself more opportunity to establish himself No quibble with that and If County want to take our cast offs then I happy for them to continue to do so

Neither Jay nor Brophy were threatening the Managers first XI.. With a 6 figure sum plus off the wage bill for EB and a useful development fee for Jay then from the outside it appears good business ... I wish them both well but if 2 players had to hit the exit then these aren't the biggest losses

Still plenty time in the window and I believe Robbo has a plan and is in control of what Is happening ... I still maintain his signing a new deal was pivotal and he must have had assurances about budgets and that money was available - cannot believe he would sign a new contract whilst the club embarked on a fire 🔥 sale. With Brophy, Henderson and now Carson all likely to go for fees plus Keanu still heavily linked with other teams it doesn't look great - but , hopefully a reshaping of the squad with a couple game changers brought in will be the result of all this potential activity .

He definitely got a tune out of Main when most others failed so it's perfectly legitimate to expect Robbo to extract the absolute maximum from every player - his ability to make chicken pie from chicken shit could be what gives us the opportunity to have another run at the top 6.

I like Keanu and at his best is definitely an asset - he has been inconsistent, especially since the world cup - not sure how his pre season looks but a good rest should hopefully see him deliver positively next season - maybe the Gaffer/ club have a plan to move him on if the money is right , let's just hope we don't make a pigs arse of that and determine before the season starts what is happening with his future .

I definitely think we need a game changer and pace is also essential... I trust in Robbo and although no one ever gets 100% right in their transfer policy, his strike rate absolutely stands up to scrutiny . I believe with Main, the gaffer was able to extract chicken salad from chicken shit ... Good luck to the big fella but we desperately need something else as an attacking option
