Poor start to the second half. A Marwood pass goes out of play - again - and McGinn then gives the ball away in the middle and Accies should do better. Still 0-1, thankfully.

Half time 0-1 Fully deserve to be losing. I'd say the score line flatters us actually. We've been terrible throughout. We simply can't get a grip of the ball in the middle without Goodwin. McLean and McGinn have barely been in the game, Brown is playing his first senior game, and you can see that. I wasn't impressed with Marwood on Sat and I'm not again tonight, he's done absolutely nothing and completely aired a header which was probably our best chance. Much improvement needed if we are going to avoid defeat.

A bit better in the last 5 minutes. Couple of free kicks and corners, nothing came from them though. Yet to create a chance.

Think this one is instead of Evans. Plug got pulled on that one at last minute at behest of Pellegrini apparently, as he thinks he can make the first team this season. Man City had some friendlies up here during the summer... Dundee, Hearts I think? Maybe another. We couldn't host them obviously cause we were getting work done to the stadium. Anyway, point is it shows you how good a name we've got down there. Man City would still rather send their youngsters to us over the teams they played and no doubt got heavily lobbied by for loanees in the friendlies.

It's more the fact that we don't have a game this weekend when the rest of the league - save from the scaredy Sheep - do. If - god forbid - we lose here we don't have another game for 10 days. That will be a long 10 days, especially when all the teams around us are picking up points. Hopefully be a comfortable win... Although we don't seem to have them that often. Get an early goal than press on, then when Imrie gets his inevitable goal it will be no more than a consolation... :

Cup winning hero. One of only 4 captains in the clubs history to lift a major title. Also a really nice guy to boot. He was immense at the end of last season and played a big part in turning our season around. He wrote off the naysayers them, and he will again this season.
