Really entertaining game that could have went either way. We didn't take any of our chances, Motherwell took one of theirs.
Thought we played well for long parts, as did Motherwell.
They are the second best team in the nation for a reason, they do what they do and they do it well.
Lasley is a dirtier player than Goodwin, yet he is portrayed as the housewives favourite whereas Goody is known as the devil incarnate. This public perception Keith has built up is tremendous credit to himself. He does what he does well, and he gets away with it, I wish he played for his hometown club.
Motherwell are the second best team in the country and I think they will finish second yet again. This was a tougher opener for us than either Aberdeen away or Dundee Utd away would have been. Yet even still we could - and perhaps should - have got something.
Thought our best players were Plummer and Tesselaar, and thought Marwood had a poor game and should have been replaced by Teale.
Our season starts on Wednesday.
Your last point shows a fundamental misunderstanding of polling.
No 50
Yes 37
DK 13
Be generous to yes and split those DK's down the middle and give 6.5% to each for the result that poll is predicting:
No 56.5%
Yes 43.5%
I believe that the actual result will not be as close as that poll is predicting.
Nah I don't pal, I think the gap will be even bigger than the polls are making out.Once people get in the privacy of that polling booth and they actually think about the issues at hand, they'll put an x in that no box. Even if they've been telling their mates they're yes. It's not easy to publicly be a no voter, especially online.
I bet there's people reading this right now nodding their head and thinking yep, that's me. Nothing to be ashamed of, it's a secret ballot and no one will ever know, but you'll be doing the right thing
I genuinely believe yes will get less than 40%
Now this is what I call a poll.
From data taken since Salmonds shoeing in the debate, by pollsters Survation who are notoriously pro yes:
No 50 (+4)
Yes 37 (-3)
DK 13 (-1)
Woof, now that's what I call momentum!
Yet more great news for our union... Someone throw in the towel for yes
You don't get it.
No currency union means rUK controls our currency. Our base rate will be in their hands, not ours.
That's SNP's plan B, to give away control of our own currency. What a bizarre form of independence.
A yes vote will mean we are actually more dependent on English politicians than we are now.
Scotland is bigger than Panama and The US is far bigger than the rUK.
The situations are in no way comparable. Panama is not going to bring down the USD. It's not inconceivable that an iScotland's fiscal policy could bring down Sterling, just look at RBS.
This is why a currency union will not happen.
What polls?
And why would they? A CU would decrease the rUK's credit rating.
There will not be a CU. Anyone who believes there will be is simply deluding themselves.
I think the UK govt has better things to be doing. BT is controlled by Scottish people, like Darling and that campaign manager who's name I always forget.
Regardless. There's no appetite for a CU among the UK Govt or the opposition. There's simply not going to be one.
It's not BT that say no to a CU. It's the rUK that says no to a CU.
After all, it's them would decide on a proposed CU in the event of a yes vote.
Salmond and YES wants us to believe that the rUK is bluffing though, and that they really do want a CU.
He wants us to gamble the future of our nation on the hope of a bluff. Yes, really.
No wonder we are voting no!
