  1. Do you not think Kenny would have signed a new contract earlier if he really wanted to stay, the only reason he is staying is because no English club were willing to pay his compensation and that is a fact. Believe it or not

    Well of course?

He can't leave for nothing though. So why would we negotiate down the compensation? Why not just keep him?

  2. bbc Scotland bigging up armed forces day with pictures that unfortunately for them show nowhere near 30,000 in attendance. Crowd more like a buddies home game, against a team with no travelling support ;)

Bear in mind that it was free entry as arranged by better together and Stirling cooncil (labour/tory coalition)

Armed forces day was arranged by better together? Source?

  3. Lawrenson is surely a shoe-in for the award of most boring miserable cnut ever allowed the position of match summariser.

He just sound like he hates football.

He's been paid a lot of money to go to Brazil and watch the World Cup, yet he makes it sound like he's been asked to clean bedpans.

    c**t.

  4. I think they've been quieter on the England national team this time around, and no wonder, what an embarrassment they are. It's the EPL they go on about.

They'll say ' What a goal by James Rodriguez - once tracked by Man United ' for example. FFS.

They then said the 'big clubs' are looking at him like he's a break through star. Monaco paid 40 million for him for goodness sake, he's been one of the best players in Europe for years.

Oh and he kept pronouncing his name wrong.

  5. Cannie stand that cùnt clive tyldsley I think he should be scalped with a broken dimpled beer tankard, even if its botswana playing krakatoa east of java he manages to work in a mention of englands 1966 world cup win mad.gif wish luis suares would bite his boaby

Agreed. Him and Andy Townsend are the worst pair known to football, I have it on mute and 5 live on.

  6. I haven't seen one yet either.

I would agree that these campaign brochure things are a waste of taxpayers money though and if they have to be sent out at all they should be sent at the cost of the political parties and not the taxpayer. What I would point out thought is that the UK document - if the figures are accurate - has cost every UK resident £0.01. According to this newspaper article this morning the Yes Campaign have responded with a similar campaign which will cost every Scottish resident £0.14

What a ridiculous waste of money. I assume all the yes campaigners will be condemning this too.

  7. No climb down I'm afraid, while you try to smokescreen over your disgusting post.

My comment was from memory, wasn't that faraway.

To be happy a St Mirren manager had relegation on his CV, well, smacks of personal vendetta, which was apparent throughout the last 3 years.

    Extra strawberry sauce, yum yum.

You should know better than to be relying on your memory at your age.

The point I made was that it was too late to make a managerial change, and I didn't want someone coming in to take the hit for Danny. How you've managed to twist that into me wanting us relegated is beyond me.

  8. Funny to think that not so long ago we got fairly regular posts saying Kenny was useless. Too slow. Lazy. Not interested. 'Get him aff for f**k's sake. Lennon!' How things change. Have the knockers all climbed back into their caves? Some of our fans can't tell the difference between a classy footballer and a whore in a Turkish bordello.

Sadly agree with that. Kenny's the kind of elegant technical player that many Scottish fans simply do not like. Many much prefer a blood and thunder trier than someone who stays on his feet and plays football.

Thankfully Kenny proved to the doubters what a good player he was toward the end of last season. If he does sign the contract we've offered, which would put him on senior pro wages and among the top earners at the club, he's certainly earned it.

  9. Shameless.

One of your posts, from memory, went along the lines of...................

"I hope we get relegated so that Lennon has that on his CV".............one of the worst posts ever seen on here, and that says something.

Sure you can try to turn it around, you, all of a sudden, were supportive when it was apparent he was going anyway, but your personal posts aimed at him previously were utter bawbaggery and relentless.

I never said that at all. Feel free to look for it.

  10. You made it your aim to assassinate Harkins at every opportunity, there is no argument there.

Thus at EVERY opportunity you highlighted HIM whenever you could.

I can't be arsed trawling though your posts, there is no argument here either.

As I said, run along, you got your way, Harkins and Lennon are gone.

Some of you posts were shameful in attacking both of the above.

That's your prerogative, I just think it's narrow minded and self promoting in the extreme.

    Next? bye1.giflol.gifthumbup2.gifwhistling.gifbangin.gif

Usual "cheap shot" about emoticons. wink.png

And I was vindicated. This wasn't some baseless personal vendetta, I had seen Harkins play plenty over the years. I thought he would come in and be bad for our team, and he was.

As for Lennon, I backed him on this forum from January and was one of few to do so. I was part of about 20 odd percent of fans polled who voted for him not be sacked immediately after a home defeat to St Johnstone. You can dig up those posts it you like.

  11. Pure speculation and opinion, which means nothing.

Yes, you MAINLY mentioned Harkins as the root of our problems. 1eye.gif

You were right? lol.giflol.giflol.gif I'm afraid ONLY in your mind. bye1.gif

Utter bawbaggery and usual self opinionated post that you are famous for.

    bye1.gifbye1.gifbye1.gif

Where did I say Harkins was mainly the route of our problems? You just made that up, didn't you? He was certainly part but it wasn't all down to him.

The 3 players who were at the heart of our problems at the start of last season were Cornell, Harkins and Grainger.

They were punted, performances improved. It's not difficult really. Look at the results and the line ups and you'll see the evidence for yourself.

Your next post needs more emoticons.

  12. Do you really think anyone is going to listen to your viewpoint as you had him crucified BEFORE he played a game?

Playing in a team that was on a bad run, but it was mostly down to him? lol.gif

FFS, you could aim that at ANY of the other players.

    Run along. bye1.gif

So because I was right before he played a game no one should listen to me?

Never said it was mostly down to him did I? He was a big part of it though. Once we got him and Grainger out and played the youngsters we started climbing the table.

You can pinpoint the turn around in form exactly, it happened at Easter Road and I was there. Harkins played on the left and Grainger played left back. They were utterly abysmal and we lost 2-0. Grainger got sent off Harkins got subbed off.

Next game was Aberdeen at home. Harkins dropped, Grainger suspended. We draw 1-1 and are unlucky not to win. We then rightly keep Harkins and Grainger out the side, and we win 4 games of the next 5.

Had we persisted with those two duds I don't doubt for a second that we'd have been relegated.
